With Mother’s Day quickly approaching, finding that perfect gift for mom can be a daunting task only because you want to get her the most perfect gift. After all, she deserves the world, right? Well, I’m assuming the world would cost way too much, so your next best option? That’s right – the GLOSSYBOX ‘Melting For You” Mother’s Day 2018 Limited Edition Box! Your search is over, because after checking out what came in this box, there’s no way I’m getting my mom anything else!

This limited edition box comes with 7 different gorgeous and luxurious products (all mom-approved) that will make her feel like the pampered queen she is.

Below I’ll take you through the entire box, breaking down each product individually, and showing exactly how it was sent to me!

*Oh and btw, this limited edition retails for over $200, and GLOSSYBOX is giving you the ENTIRE THING for only $40!

The Unwrapped Box

The box comes in adorable black packaging and arrived in great shape! Once you open the black packaging, you’ll find a gorgeous limited edition pink box with a rose on it. I would definitely suggest taking it out of the original black box before gifting it for your mom!

Once I Opened The Box

Right when you take the top off of the box, there’s a cute black bow tie holding everything together. This limited edition box comes with a little pamphlet welcoming you to GLOSSYBOX and giving you information about all the products!

Inside The Box!

When you unwrap the bow and take the tissue paper off, you’ll find a beautiful box with lots of gorgeous goodies! In total, there were 10 products bundled up inside this box. I’ll break each one down for you down below!

1. Vikto & Rolf Flowerbomb Soap ($28 Retail Value)

This first product in this limited edition box is a luxurious bath soap that smells exactly how you think a “flowerbomb” would. It has an amazing floral scent and you also get a mini fragrance vial of this scent to go along with it!

2. Lancôme Rénergie Multi-Glow ($79 Retail Value)

Okay, this was definitely my favorite product in the box. First off, I loved the bright pink container it came in. When you open this facial moisturizer, it doesn’t look like ordinary moisturizer. It has a peachy-pink colored, whipped texture. I immediately went home to try this out and it was everything I had honestly hoped for! It glided it smoothly and felt like it just melted right into my skin, not to mention it smelled sooo good.

I can definitely understand why this is on the pricier side. In just one application you can tell the formula is really working itself into your skin. My face instantly looked brighter and even a little plumper. It didn’t leave any weird residue (like some moisturizers do) and my face didn’t feel greasy (which is something I’m always scared of when picking out a moisturizer). It’s perfect for any mom needing a little skin refresher morning and night, and over time is supposed to improve the overall texture of your skin!

3. Mamonde Hydrating Beauty Water ($23 Retail Value)

Another one of my favorite products in this box. This hydrating water is actually a softening toner for your skin. After washing your face, you can gently apply this with either your hands or a cotton pad. It also contains extract from organic damask roses – actual roses on your skin?! Talk about feeling pampered!

My favorite thing about this product is that although it is a toner, it doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals that can bother or sting your skin like other toners contain. And that’s why it’s suitable for even the most sensitive skin! I really liked the way my skin felt after applying this – it was super refreshing and my skin felt firm and clean.

4. Skinn Cosmetics Infusion Recover & Renew Facial Masks ($40 Retail/4 Masks)

Let me start off by saying you get four of these masks in your box, which is such a deal. I always love trying new sheet masks, so I’m sure you can guess how excited I was to get these. If you’ve ever used sheet masks before, you know there are good ones and bad ones out there. I will say these are definitely high on my list. When you pull it out of the package it’s super moist and drips a little bit, but once you open it and put it on your face, it adheres very well and there’s no dripping. I left it on for about 20 minutes, and guess what, it DIDN’T begin to slide or droop like some face masks do, hallelujah!

Now, let’s talk about what’s in this mask. This facial mask is meant to give your skin the TLC it needs (especially after such a harsh winter)! It’s meant to ‘restore’ and rejuvenate your skin with lactic acid. Lactic acid aids in cell turnover meaning it works to dissolve the upper layer of skin cells and repair your skin overall. With 4 of these masks, you’ll really be able to see the difference they make after a month – I’m excited to see how my skin turns out!

5. The Beauty Crop Lip Brûlée ($12.95 Retail Value)

This Lip Brûlée immediately drew in my attention when I opened the box because what in the world is Lip Brûlée? Well if you’ve never been fully satisfied with just a matte lip, just a gloss, or just lip balm, you’ve found your holy grail because this contains all 3! It’s super pigmented, hydrating (shout out to jojoba and apricot kernel oil), glossy and creamy all at once! When I tried this is on I was pretty surprised to feel how smooth and hydrating it felt on my lips while still giving so much color payoff!

Apologies in advance, I know I’m no Kylie Jenner when it comes to lip swatches, but you can really see the high shine and glossy tone while also being richly pigmented. And these rosy pink hues will look good on any skin tone!

6. Lauren B. Beauty Nail Polish  ($18 Retail Value)

Hello Spring! This soft petal pink color is perfect for that spring/summer transition. Nudes and pastels are in this year, so this nail polish is perfect for that subtle pop of color you’re looking for. It glides on so smoothly, and the color really is as rich as it looks in the bottle. It also gave off more of a glossy shine than some nail polishes that are more matte looking.

7. Invisibobble® Hair Ring ($8 Retail Value/3 Hair Rings)

To be honest, I never even knew these were a thing until now, but I’m so glad I learned about them. As someone who’s always putting her hair up to work out or just to get it out of her face, the hair elastic struggle is real. I almost always end up ripping my hair out.

The great thing about these hair rings is that they wont pull at your hair, and will stay locked in place all day. Three of these hair rings come in the package and let’s be real, they’re so much cuter than a boring black hair elastic.

There you have it. Overall, I would say this is definitely a “go” when it comes to what to get your mom for Mother’s. I honestly just couldn’t believe the quality of these products and that I was getting ALL of this for just $40. Also be sure to check out their monthly subscription program and check out all the cool beauty boxes they create each month!

So there is your ultimate GLOSSYBOX review of the Mother’s Day 2018 Limited Edition ‘Melting For You’ box! Make sure to order by May 1st 11:59pm EST in order to receive it by Mother’s Day!
