Facial hair isn’t for everyone. Some girls absolutely love it, and some prefer their guys with a baby smooth face. Ultimately, it is up to you what you choose to do with your face, but just in case you were wondering… here is why your girl actually hates facial hair.
It’s sharp.
Some scruff is pretty much always sexy, but if it can also be pretty rough on our faces. If your stubble is a little too short, it kind of feels like you’re kissing a cheese grater.
It doesn’t mean you can let everything go.
If you have a beard, it is not an invitation to slack on the rest of your manscaping. If you just let the rest of your hairiness go, your girl really might to hate facial hair in general.
You don’t condition it.
If you are going to commit to a beard, really commit. Condition it, comb it, trim it. The whole nine yards, please! She loves you, but honestly, who wants to cuddle up to a Brillo pad at night?
You always get to look good.
Facial hair is like makeup for men. A good beard or even just some scruff can take you from preteen boy to man, and all you have to do is wash your face and go. If girls want to avoid baby face, we need at least some mascara and eyeliner. Ugh, so unfair.
She just prefers a clean face.
Your girlfriend wouldn’t be with you if she didn’t like your face, of course. Maybe you’re the first guy she has dated who has facial hair, or maybe she fell for you back when you used to rock a freshly shaven face. Either way, she might just prefer a clean face to a scruffy one.
