Why Everyone Is Obsessed With To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
For those of you who don’t know what To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is, it’s a Netflix film based on a novel of the same name. It’s about a girl who writes secret letters to the boys she has liked in the past and present, these then get sent out to the boys and her whole life is turned upside down. If you haven’t watched it then what are you waiting for? Go watch it! But for those of you who have watched it you must be obsessed with it and here are a few reasons why.
1. The beauty that is Peter Kavinsky
Peter Kavinsky is the boy of your dreams, he’s hot, funny and goes all the way across town just to get your favorite yogurt drink… also did I mention he’s hot? Everyone is obsessed over how great his character is we’re all just waiting to find out how great Noah Centineo (the actor who plays Peter Kavinsky) is. I could go on forever but I’ll let this gif show you just how perfect he is.
2. It’s kind of realistic
We all love the 00’s teen movies where the popular guy just happens to walk into the quiet weird girl and they fall in love, but that is totally unrealistic, I’m not saying this is very realistic but it’s more likely to happen so much so that we can imagine it happening to us. We can feel all of Lara Jean’s feelings and why we are so obsessed with this movie.
3. Noah and Lana’s on and off screen relationship
Even though they’re just friends at the start of the movie and in real life their relationship is so cute, they’re always posting pictures with each other on Instagram and there are a million videos of them being so cute together. They even used to nap together on set, how cute.
4. The possibility that Noah and Lana are going out in real life
Everyone who is obsessed with To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before wants Noah all to themselves but once they get over the fact that they can’t have him they all want Noah and Lana to be dating. And it might be a possibility because Noah posted a cute picture of them on Instagram captioning it “she melts my heart” which is melting everyone’s hearts.
5. That crazy cute pocket spin thing
The most iconic part of the movie is the pocket spin because yes it’s cheesy but who cares because it’s so cute. It’s giving us 00’s teen movie vibes and we are all obsessed. You can even find people trying to learn how to do it lol, but no one can do it as good as Peter. Did you know that the spin wasn’t even in the script? Noah improvised and we are so glad he did.
6. The sisters in the movie have an amazing relationship
Lara Jean is one of three sisters and they all share a special bond in the film which is so cute, but if you have a sister then you know that’s not how real sisters act. They take your clothes, make up and have the nerve to annoy you! But still they are very close and tell each other everything which is so amazing. This is defintiely one of the reasons to love To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.
7. We all want to send letters to our crushes
Okay so maybe you don’t want to send a letter exactly, maybe a text or voice note but the point is that we all want to say something to our crushes but never do. We are all like Lara Jean so we understand how she feels, this movie is best case scenario if our crushes ever found out.
