Beauty and makeup Youtubers are making highly popular and useful content for all the makeup lovers out there! But which YouTubers do you just have to watch? Check out this list for some lovely influencers to follow and support!
U.S.-based Darcei, or MissDarcei as her YouTube handle refers to her as is a highly hilarious and gorgeous makeup YouTuber with 919,000 subscribers. She makes videos testing out new makeup collections and looks, while constantly and consistently giving her one hundred percent honest opinion no matter if the video is sponsored or not. The series of videos that boosted her views and subscriber count is a video series called “Black Girl Tries…”, where Darcei tries out different styles of makeup to see how they look on her beautiful, deep complexion. One of my personal favorites on her channel that really gives you a feel for her personality as well as her content is a video called, “Black Girl Tries Kylie Jenner Makeup.” In this video, Darcei follows a makeup tutorial that Kylie Jenner posted on her Kylie Cosmetics YouTube channel that showcases her everyday makeup look using her line of makeup products. You can always count on Darcei’s videos to put a smile on your face and keep you informed on new products and how various types of makeup looks appear on her skin tone. Her content is so enjoyable and truly a breath of fresh air during this time! If her both gorgeous and hilarious thumbnails do not pull you in, her undeniable sense of humor will make you pay attention.

Canadian beauty, Allana Davison, is a beauty YouTuber that focuses on makeup, fashion, and lifestyle content with 673,000 subscribers. Similar to Darcei, she has an impeccable sense of humor and makes sure to show that in every single video she uploads, which she enhances with creative and fun editing tricks. One of her most popular series of videos on her channel is called, “Full Face Friday.” In this series, Allana posts a new makeup tutorial every single Friday using various brands from drugstore brands like E.L.F. Cosmetics to luxury brands like Lancome, or just any products she wants to showcase. These videos are helpful if you are trying to gauge if a product or makeup brand is worth spending your money on, or if you just want to watch someone play with makeup! Besides makeup, Allana creates content about her style and vlogs her daily life, so this channel is a great place if you are looking for a variety of content.

Violette is a French YouTuber that creates really educational and interesting makeup, fashion, and food content for her 289,000 subscribers. She does makeup looks both on herself as well as other people with various skin types and skin tones, which is quite refreshing. Her videos usually showcase a very specific look, for example, a bold blue eyeliner look. My favorite videos that she creates are her makeup looks on her friends, such as “Delina’s Crimson Orange Lips” and “Graphic Glitter For Hooded Eyes.” Violette’s voice is so soothing and her videos are very relaxing. I would have never thought to experiment with a bold glittery lid or a blue lipstick if it were not for her content. She is very confident and just goes for it with her self-expression through makeup and fashion choices.

Personality and beauty just radiate from Jackie Aina’s YouTube videos. She is known for her brutal honesty on products she tries, even in videos that are sponsored by brands, as well as her contagious energy and humor. She gives her 3.53 million subscribers all the information they need to know about new makeup products and brands, plus the variety of shades that products are available in for darker skin tones. A super fun video that encapsulates her channel for me is a video entitled, “Recreating Legendaric R&B Album Covers”, in which she does just what the title suggests. Her content is so entertaining and teaches her viewers everything they need to know about applying makeup like a pro as well as finding the products that will have a shade for every skin tone!

Jackie Wyers is among the beauty YouTubers as well, but with a slight twist. The Canadian YouTuber based in New York City specifically focuses on recreating pop culture looks, so looks inspired by television shows, movies, and celebrities for her 813,000 subscribers. Her videos usually are comprised of inspired makeup, a few hairstyles, as well as outfit recreations. Utilizing her makeup skills, lots of fun wigs, and fashion sense, Jackie’s videos are perfect for the pop culture obsessed! One of my favorite looks she has recreated is shown in her video called, “Renaissance Angel, soft e girl aesthetic makeup tutorial”, in which she draws delicate roses on her cheekbones by hand. Her recreations are always spot on and are some of my favorite videos to watch!

Sazan is a gorgeous and talented beauty and lifestyle YouTuber with 493,000 subscribers. Her content is also focused on makeup and beauty, but she also uploads videos about being a mother and wife. She has a lot of knowledge of makeup application and uploads tutorials for beginners as well as those that have more experience with makeup, challenge videos with her husband and best friends, and personal videos about her pregnancy and marriage. Her bold brows are definitely a trademark as well as her laidback personality, transparency, and desire to help her subscribers look and feel their best! A really fun and helpful video she recently uploaded is called, “Beginners Makeup: How To Create Your Signature Look.” This video, in particular, is a wonderful tool for those of you who are just starting to wear makeup, or if you just want to really define and personalize your look. Her channel is a great place to go to just relax and enjoy while learning helpful makeup tips and tricks!
