This compilation will help you decide which herbal tea to drink to feel better.

Detox Teas

There are a few signs you need a good detox. You may have a bloated stomach, be feeling lethargic, constipated or have acne. A lot of times these are the result of a junk food binge or drinking alcohol the weekend before. There are herbal teas labeled Detox in many supermarkets but to be sure, there are some herbal specifics to look out for. Peppermint teas are great for digestion after a large dinner. Dandelion teas are best for a detox, as they help clean out the liver and the bloodstream.

For A Better Night’s Sleep

Getting a full night’s sleep isn’t the easiest to accomplish for some people. It requires us to unplug and slow our mind long before we even sit in bed. In addition to small changes–like having a good book and turning off your phone–adding an herbal tea to your nighttime regime could help exponentially. Chamomile is the first herbal tea that comes to mind when aiding restlessness. It’s praised for helping to calm the mind just before bedtime. Lavender and Valerian teas are known to reduce stress and anxiety, as well as help with insomnia.

To Help With Premenstrual Symptoms

There are many, many teas that are known to help with the simplest of issues including headaches, stomach problems, the common cold, cholesterol and even nausea. There are lots of perks to every tea when you’re choosing which herbal tea to drink. Let us not forget that these teas are made from not only herbs, but from seeds and roots that have been known to help with common health issues for centuries. If you are suffering from premenstrual symptoms, a lemon or ginger tea works wonders. It combats nausea, anxiety, headaches and cramps. Having lemon ginger tea to start your day and peppermint tea before bed might alleviate some of those uncomfortable premenstural symptoms.
