Where To Find The Best Food In Minute Maid Stadium

Baseball season is upon us, and after the year the Astros had, the stadium is sure to be jam-packed with diehard fans, cheering on the Astros to another World Series Championship! And if you’re a true baseball fan, you know that stadium food is half the fun! Here’s a list of concession stands to get all of the best food in Minute Maid Stadium.

For Nachos –  El Real

El Real has been a favorite Houston restaurant for years, so when they opened a stand in the stadium, it was a good day! Here’s where you can take your nacho obsession to the next level. They offer fajita steak and chicken over the typical ground beef options, plus a bunch of other toppings. You can find them in Section 132.

For a Burger – Shake Shack

Shake Shack opened up last year, as a part of Minute Maid’s stadium renovation. They are known for their interesting burgers, like the SmokeShack and the Shroom Burger. This is the best place for a burger and fry option, but be sure to get there early. All their burgers are made to order, and the line fills up quick. You can find Shake Shack next to the Astros bullpen, just above the Lexus Field Club.

For Tacos – Torchy’s Tacos

Torchy’s Tacos is a must for all you taco lovers out there. They don’t have a full menu, like Torchy’s around the city, but you can find the typical flavors like the Beef Fajita, the Trailer Park, and the Fried Avocado. Torchy’s is located in the center field Mezzanine Level. Come with an appetite, because there are plenty of options for the best food in Minute Maid Stadium.

For Hot Dogs – Home & Away (Dollar Dog Night)

If you’re all about hot dogs at a baseball game, be sure to pick a game on Tuesday night. Every Tuesday home game is Dollar Dog Night. Yes, you heard me right, all hot dogs for just a dollar. You can find hot dogs all over the stadium, but most specifically, Home & Away. They feature all your classic baseball menu items, like popcorn, pretzels and beer.

For Dessert – Home Made Funnel Cakes

If you’re going to watch a baseball game, you must eat funnel cake. That’s just the rules of life. You can find Home Made Funnel Cakes in Sections 105 & 154. If you’re lucky, they’ll feature the Fly Ball, a funnel cake with vanilla ice cream and raspberry syrup. This became a menu item after a fly ball landed in the funnel cake fryer. But don’t worry! It’s definitely been cleaned out since then!
