What’s Your Fall Color According To Your Zodiac?
Fall is fast approaching, and as you start to assemble your fall look, who better to consult than the stars? Check out this list of colors that will be in this season, and which one you should wear based on your zodiac sign!
Aries: Chili Pepper
It might seem a bit cliché to say that Aries’ fall color will be a red tone, but it’s hard to look at the fiery, passionate shade of Chili Pepper and not think of the Aries in your life. It’s a bold, impulsive color that only a bold, impulsive person could pull off. Bright colors like Chili Pepper take a good deal of confidence and enthusiasm to wear, and Aries have both in spades. Red also traditionally denotes courage, which is one of the foundational traits of an Aries.
Taurus: Rocky Road
The deep tones of Rocky Road are perfect for Tauruses. Rocky Road is described as “an earthy and grounded solid brown,” and practically made for the grounded and down-to-earth Taurus. The dark brown is a practical but interesting shade that looks great on coats, jackets, and boots, all staples of fall fashion. It’s a perfect match for responsible Tauruses. Like the patient, stubborn Tauruses, Rocky Road is reliable. You can wear this deep, stoic color all fall and into winter, and bring back the look year after year.
Gemini: Guacamole
The shade of the season for curious, fickle Geminis is Guacamole. It’s a shade of green that sits right on the dividing line between light and dark green hues; the kind of color that makes you stare and try to figure it out. Like the adaptable (and sometimes inconsistent) Gemini, Guacamole can be whatever you need it to be in the moment, which means it goes with everything. It’s an outgoing color, perfect for the extroverted star sign.
Cancer: Bluestone
Those born under the Crab will be rocking Bluestone this fall. According to Pantone, Bluestone is “a color of quiet resolve,” an ideal shade for the tenacious and loyal Cancer. It’s a subtle but evocative blue that will spur on Cancers’ active imaginations. Bluestone is very forgiving, neither too dark nor too light, just like the sympathetic and persuasive Cancers. This particular shade has a distinct emotional touch to it, like Cancers and their strong emotional depths.
Leo: Dark Cheddar
Look out, Leos–here comes your new favorite fall color! Like pumpkins and fall leaves, Dark Cheddar is a shade of orange as warm as a Leo’s demeanor and as cheerful as their smiles. “Bold and daring” describes Dark Cheddar as well as it does the natural-born leadership that Leos are so well known for. Leos will love the passionate, creative vibe that orange gives off. Whether you wear it in a sweater, a scarf, or a pair of funky pants, dark Cheddar is a confident, light-hearted color that charismatic Leos will rock all autumn long.
Virgo: Evening Blue
A shade that never goes out of style, Evening Blue is as loyal as Virgos are. Hardworking Virgos will appreciate this practical color they can wear at work (or at play, when they finally pull their noses away from the grindstone!). Evening Blue is a sophisticated, unassuming color that exudes the exactly kind of analytical grace that Virgos possess.
Libra: Peach Pink
Social Libras will love the bright, extroverted hue of Peach Pink. This color is just as bubbly and cooperative as Libras. It negotiates the line between pink and orange just like diplomatic Libras negotiate social situations without confrontation. It’s a lovely, light color that will add a bright pop of color to the gracious Libra’s fall wardrobe.
Scorpio: Eden
Eden is a daring shade of dark green that matches well with the brave Scorpio. It’s a color that’s deep and solid, like the true friendship that Scorpios are known for. It’s a secretive dark green, which will accent the Scorpio’s mysterious side. Passionate, resourceful Scorpios will enjoy mixing and matching Eden with bright colors and patterns for a bold, fashionable look. Best of all, Eden is dark enough that a stubborn Scorpio who loves Eden can keep on wearing it from fall into winter, too!
Sagittarius: Biking Red
Sagittarius is an active star sign, and Biking Red has action even in the name! It’s a dark, almost brick red that will remind adventurous Sagitarriuses of all the places they have been or long to see. It’s a genial color, perfect for Sagitarriuses and their excellent sense of humor. Like the Sagittarius, Biking Red is a generous color, too, one that compliments the wearer and is warm and inviting to the viewer as well.
Capricorn: Paloma
Capricorns will appreciate the well-mannered subtlety of Paloma. It’s a light shade of gray that’s perfect for the workplace and streetwear alike as Capricorns go about their with responsibility in all areas of their lives. Unlike some of the more bold and brash colors on this list, Paloma is a color with a Capricorn’s sense of self-control. It’s disciplined and graceful, like Capricorns at their best.
Aquarius: Fruit Dove
Fruit Dove is a shade of pink that matches Aquariuses originality through and through. Like an Aqaurius, Fruit Dove “creates a presence that can’t be ignored.” It’s as vivid and contemporary as the progressive Aquarius, and as bright and uncompromising as well. Like an Aquarius’s independent streak, Fruit Dove is a color that will stand out when the leaves turn brown. The emotionally expressive Aquarius will look excellently exuberant wearing Fruit Dove this fall.
Pisces: Vanilla Custard
Pisces deserve a fall color as gentle as they are, and that color is Vanilla Custard. It’s a soft cream color that’s intuitive and trusting, just like Pisces. Like compassionate Pisces, a good Vanilla Custard compliments other colors well, especially the neutral tones that are ubiquitous in autumn and winter. Vanilla Custard is a wise choice for the discerning Pisces, as it’s a color that comes back year after year and can be worn all year round.
