Whether you are an expert traveler or this is your first trip, packing can sometimes be a pain in the ass. Generally when travel day gets closer, we frantically throw some objects into a suit case and pray we didn’t forget anything. However, there are always a few essentials every traveler needs for their trip. Here’s a compiled list of 15 what to pack no matter what.
No – I’m not saying bring a huge fucking thing of mouthwash but if you know your shit, you’d know there are travel sized options at any pharmacy. CVS usually has a huge section of travel-sized cosmetics. I won’t lie, even when I’m not going on a trip I stroll through this isle. It’s basically like the testers at Sephora… except they aren’t free.
There’s nothing worse than traveling with just one hair tie that’s supposed to last you the whole trip (if you’ve got a man-bun). Those things disappear out of thin air, I swear. Make sure you have a pack of hair ties ready to go in case they happen to disappear. A hair brush is always a great idea too. The perfect hair brush for traveling is the Tangle Teezer. These things are huge in Europe.
Of course we’re talking travel sized here. My personal favorite is Nexxus. This may sound a bit odd, but if you love the smell of Banana Boat or Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen, you’re going to flip for Nexxus Therappe Ultimate Moisture Shampoo. I’m not joking when I say it smells exactly like Hawaiian Tropic. Who doesn’t love the smell of banana and coconut? I think that’s a pretty fantastic combo.
Face wash is always a good idea considering the fact bacteria travels everywhere. Cetaphil is always a nice option.
Travel sized obviously. If you haven’t tried Cerave, I suggest you do.
Don’t think you are going anywhere without this one! I have witnessed family members get all the way to the airport before realizing they forgot their ID. Gonna have to say my older sister wasn’t so responsible that trip.
People always tend to forget to pack these suckers. Pretty crucial.
If you are going somewhere where you are going to be doing a lot of walking, highly suggest packing comfy shoes. There’s really nothing worse than walking 8 miles the first day and having your feet hurt the entire rest of the trip.
Again, you’d think people would pack this first but it’s often left behind. This is an absolute on the “what to pack” list.
Let’s be real, there’s no way you’re forgetting this one. I think it’s just a habit of taking your phone everywhere with you nowadays.
