What Episode of Friends to Watch Based on Your Zodiac Sign
Friends is an iconic show, and has even more iconically funny episodes. But there’s so many and (if you’re like us) you never know which one to pick when you have some time to spare.
So, to help, here’s what friends episode you should watch based on your zodiac sign.
Aries: “The One With Unagi”
In this episode, Monica and Chandler have each forgotten to make the other a Valentine’s Day gift and Ross tries to test Rachel and Phoebe’s self-defense skills. The mix of slight forgetfulness and fiery defense skills that the girls enact on Ross are two things that Aries is typically known for, which is why they’d enjoy it.
Taurus: “The One Where Everyone Finds Out”
Everyone knows that Taurses are stubborn as hell and will out play anyone in a game of chicken: which is what this episode is about. After Phoebe discovers what that Monica and Chandler are dating and that Rachel and Joey have known for weeks the girls start an epic game of chicken to retaliate.
Gemini: “The One With the Blackout”
A city-wide blackout strands the crew (sans Chandler) at the girls’ apartment and traps Chandler in close quarters with a famous Victoria Secret super model where he quite literally chokes. Geminis, as the most nervous of the zodiac signs, will relate with Chandler’s situation and his reaction to it.
Cancer: “The One With All The Thanksgivings”
In this episode, after a particularly filling meal, everyone sits around reminiscing about their worst Thanksgivings. Although the episode is about bad experiences, Cancers are the most nostalgic of the signs because of how much they care about those around them, and this episode is about reminiscing, yes, bad experiences, but also about how their friends made them better.
Leo: “The One After the Superbowl”
This episode is jam-packed with famous celebrities, from Jean-Claude Van Damme to Julia Roberts. Phoebe turns Monica and Rachel into her “bitches” as they fight about dating Van Damme and Chandler gets played by Susie Moss, his fourth grade classmate hellbent on getting revenge for a childhood humiliation. The episode is such a fiasco and huge performance that we immediately associated with Leo’s attention-seeking ways.
Virgo: “The One With the Embryos”
This episode features the ultimate trivia game, where Joey, Chandler, Monica, and Rachel are squaring off in a Ross-created trivia game to see which gender knows more about the other, with the girl’s apartment as the stakes. Because Virgos are so analytical and intellectual, trivia is their jam, and as a competition to see who’s the smartest? Perfect.
Libra: “The One Where No One’s Ready”
Libras are known for being the most indecisive of the zodiac signs, so there isn’t any better episode than the one where Ross has less than 30 minutes to get everyone dressed and out the door to attend a museum benefit, and everyone else is getting ready but, you guessed it, no one really is because they’re indecisive (especially Rachel).
Scorpio: “The One With The Resolutions”
In this episode, the crew tries, with varying degrees of success, to uphold their New Year’s resolutions. Because of how intuitive and determined Scorpios are for success, an episode about upholding resolutions is perfect for this sign.
Sagittarius: “The One In Barbados”
We picked this episode because, yes, it’s about travelling to a new place which Sagittariuses love, but it’s also about putting other’s needs before your own, and helping others when they’re in need, which Sagittariuses are known for.
Capricorn: “The One With Phoebe’s Birthday Dinner”
While Phoebe and Joey are waiting for everyone to arrive at Phoebe’s birthday dinner, everyone else is late due to different circumstances, making Phoebe angry. This anger is exactly how Capricorns would react, because (being the most responsible and practical of the signs) tardiness really really irritates Capricorns, just like Phoebe.
Aquarius: “The One Where Ross Got High”
Did we pick this episode because it’s about weed? Maybe. But that’s not the only reason. In the episode, Monica and Chandler are hosting Thanksgiving, but it turns out that Jack and Judy Geller hate Chandler because they blame him for Ross’ dorm room smelling like pot in university. This starts a game of Chandler trying to impress them, and Ross and Joey wanting to bail forsupermodels. Wanting to be accepted (even when it doesn’t seem like they usually do, like Chandler) is something that Aquariuses look for, and they look to be treated eqaually like everyone else, like Chandler.
Pisces: “The One With the Dollhouse”
In this episode, Monica inherits a dollhouse from her dead aunt, but doesn’t play well with others, causing Phoebe to build her own dream dollhouse. The stubbornness of Monica and the creativity of Phoebe building her own dollhouse are two very on point things for Pisces, which is why we chose it.
