5 Ways To Wear Your Boyfriends Clothes This Fall

Women wearing men’s wear- weird, right? Actually, not at all. Celebrities like Miley, Kourtney K, and even Tay Swift have all been spotted in men’s inspired suit looks. Even famous designers like Ralph Lauren are digging the men’s wear trends on women as he states, “it’s about taste, and it’s about lifestyle. I believe women of all ages can wear anything”. So ladies, if you like, you wear it. Step out of your comfort zone, and let’s rock some men’s wear this fall! Keep reading for five ways you can wear your boyfriends clothes this fall- and any day!

1. Don’t overlook his oversized flannels!

The season of fall means cooler weather, so it’s time to trade in the tank tops for flannels. The coziest and cutest flannels I own are all from the men’s department and are three sizes too big. There are so many different ways to style oversized flannels; you can wear it as a dress with a pair of chucks, tie it around your waist, layer it over a band tee and jeans or with leggings and fuzzy socks for the comfiest and coziest outfit of all time.

2. Sports jerseys aren’t always just “for the boys”.

Sports are no longer just “for the boys.” Sporty Chic is on the come up, and honestly, it doesn’t get any cuter. Jerseys are the perfect staple piece to create a sporty chic style. Pair the jerseys with leggings, cutoff jeans, or even throw on some spandex and rock that jersey dress! Grab your chucks, superstars or favorite pair on Nikes, and you’ve nailed it.

3. Nothing is more comfortable than wearing your boyfriends hoodies and crew necks!

Okay ladies, let’s be honest, no matter what it looks like, if it’s his hoodie from 2012 or it’s his latest purchase, we love wearing our guy’s clothes. There is just something so comforting about wearing it, between it smelling like him and being a constant reminder of him, wearing his clothes is an essential in any relationship. Every guy is going to love seeing his girl in his clothes, especially a hoodie with his name on the back, so pair it will leggings or joggers and rock that just rolled out of bed look.

4. Suits are really trending too… seriously.

I know it’s a stretch to say you can borrow your boyfriends suit and walk into your next interview. But red carpet trends are changing constantly, and one that has been frequently seen has been ladies rocking the suit. A woman should feel powerful and beautiful, and a suit captures both perfectly. If you want a chic business look, definitely snag a suit and strut your stuff.

5. Chunky Grandpa sweaters, trust us.

Okay, when it’s cold out, I’ll wear anything to stay warm, but I found a solution to staying warm and looking cute. Grandpa sweaters sound anything but cute, but just trust me here. They are adorable. Goodwill and local thrift stores are grandpa sweater heaven, and although they’re not your boyfriends clothes, just $3 later you’ve got the warmest item of clothing in your closet
