10 Ways To Wear Trendy Boots This Winter
The season of christmas decorations and icy weather is approaching, which means that jumpers and boots are going to be the go-to closet items. But it doesn’t have to be as boring as that sentence sounded, there are so many ways of styling it up and making each outfit different that you’ll be wishing to go outside more to show off your outfit to everyone.
Whether you do or not is a completely different matter because we all know that if you can, you’ll chose to stay inside with the radiator and your dressing gown. Or that might just be my preference.
Here are 10 trendy boots that you can style with jeans, skirts, trousers, dresses, jumpers, and shorts if you are brave. Hopefully you’ll get inspiration by the end of the list of what to wear through winter.
1. Leopard Boots
Embrace your inner cat and wear your leopard print with pride as you walk through the snow. The colours that are on the boots help you cling on to the cosy autumn feeling that has passed and welcome the darker colours of winter.
Pair the boots with a matching taupe/brown colour jumper and you’ve got yourself a very stylish outfit. Bonus if you a hair colour that matches it like the lady below.
Also if you have a preference for gold jewellery, now is your time to get it out.

2. Knee Highs
The more the boot covers the better in winter because you want as many layers as possible to try and stay warm. It’s why I love knee high boots because you can style them with jeans and other trousers and have the biggest, fluffiest socks on underneath and be so warm without anyone realising.
These knee high boots can also be styled with dresses and skirt, with a pair of tights underneath or just knee high socks and you’ve got yourself another style.
I love the big scarf this woman is styling her boots with, the bigger the scarf the better I think.

3. Thigh Highs
Topping knee high, is thigh high. Getting that bit more coverage but also making it so the boots can be styled more with long jumpers or skirts. I personally love this style because it looks relaxed but stylish at the same time.
It fits the winter season in that it is jumper and boots, but it is only a jumper and boots. Whether you want to put tights underneath to give your thighs a bit more protection is up to you. But you can probably get any with this style right up until christmas unless you are in areas where snow comes early.

4. Timberland
The casual but gorgeous style of the Timberland boot. You can style these to have a don’t-mess-with-me vibe which I absolutely love because it requires minimal effort. As the girl shows below, all you need is your hoodie and a leather jacket, matched with some ripped jeans and you’re done.
Stylish and comfortable for the winter weather.
Plus you can get the Timberland boot in many different colours, so it depends on your preference really. Whether that’s black, grey, even pink, which is actually really cute.

5. Black Boots
Everyone owns a pair of black boots, it becomes a necessity because they can be paired with the majority of outfits. And here’s an outfit that I think will be very popular this season because these style of trousers are very in.
Pair your simple boots with a matching turtle neck and let your trousers do the talking. Whether it’s like these checked ones below or a more tartan style, a more floral pattern or just a bold colour. You will make a statement with such a minimal style.

6. Snow Boots
Depending on where you are, you may be needing snow boots as it is winter. I wish I lived in an area where snow was more prominent.
These boots are a great way of looking trendy and stylish while also staying safe and being able to actually walk outside without dying. The grip that these boots have and the warmth that they provide will make sure you are good for the weather, and the fur and style of the boot will keep you looking stylish.
Pair it with a matching hat to go with the fur below and you’ll look dead cute. You can wear as many layers as is needed in-between, but blacks and greys are best to leave the hat and shoes to shine.
7. Combat
Combat boots are always popular, and they’re a favourite in the winter season. Although heavy, they are a type of boot designed for the weather. No heel to slip on an ice or snow, plenty of grip and sole as well as warmth provided by the coverage of the ankle.
I love this outfit, pairing the combat with the smart blazer to make a statement. And this is another way of using a turtle neck jumper to look fabulous this winter.
8. Ankle Boots
I know I just said heels weren’t the best for winter, but it’s not like it’s going to b snowing every day, for the majority its just going to be cold so we can get away with wearing heels on the good days. And why not wear these cute AF ankle boots.
The straps and buckles across it add some detail that the other shoes don’t have. And paired with just some jeans and shirt, yo’ve got yourself a simple but stylish outfit. You can also take note from here and let your socks be seen in winter, so you may want to invest in some pretty patterned, thick socks to keep your toes cosy. It’s the socks time to shine.

9. Wellies
I used to hate wellies as kid, but I think that may be because mine were ugly and didn’t fit my feet properly so they were giving me blisters on my ankles. But wellies can be stylish I’ve learnt and comfortable.
One the wetter days when your suede boots will get ruined why not try styling out a pair of wellies. These sleek black ones from Hunter are a great pair that will still have you looking stylish. As you can see this woman has wrapped herself up in her big coat and hat to face the cold weather, making sure her feet are protected in the wellies.

10. Lace ups
These are such a cute pair of boots and ones that will suit the winter weather perfectly. They have a minimal heel making them easy to walk about in if it does get bad outside, but the colour is also gorgeous.
Lace-up boots pair well with tights because of the dainty crossing of the laces, which means you can wear these with your autumn dresses and look fabulous. Just because the seasons change, it doesn’t mean your clothes become out of action. Like I said, you can still be wearing shorts if you are really wanted.
