5 Ways To Wear Destroyed Denim

Destroyed denim is on everyone’s list of favorite jeans! They match with every style and color top you can image. Try these different ways to wear destroyed denim, to bring out the best style for all of the tops in your closet.

1.  Cropped

Cropped denim fits right at the ankle. Wear these denim pants with a grunge graphic t-shirt or tube bandeau top. Let your jewelry complement your outfit by wearing stacked bracelets and sunglasses. For shoes, you can wear ankle boots, since the jeans are cropped to expose your shoe style.

Cropped jeans are comfortable when wearing a pair that has a bit of stretch. The best way to wear cropped destroyed jeans is with jeans that are also frayed at the hem, for a fun finish!

2. Shorts

Short denim shorts that are also destroyed can be dressed down with a cropped t-shirt. Or, you can add a semi-casual look that is also dressy with a sheer, long sleeve top. Wear a simple bra underneath, to slightly expose your stomach and arms in a charming way! You can wear pointed-toe heels, or you can wear flat sandals with a fresh pedicure.

This look can be heavily accessorized, without looking too gaudy. Try wearing gold-tone accessories like a watch added to stacked bracelets, midi rings, and an ankle bracelet. If you want a polished type of look, wear your hair in a sleek high bun and gold studded earrings.

If you want an all-American look, simply wear a scoop-neck tank or fitted white t-shirt.  Whichever look you choose, be sure to add a belt to high waist, destroyed jeans with exposed legs, so you can freely move around the park or concert grounds while jumping and blurting your favorite song lyrics!

4. Dark Wash

Dark wash denim pairs perfect with lighter colors. Wear a cute and cozy, off-the-shoulder sweater in pink or purple, with a complimenting white bralette. Pair with canvas sneakers or sandals. If it’s really chilly outside, try wearing ankle booties or over the knee boots.

Keep the cozy sweater look also, with a white cami and pastel color cardigan. If you want to keep your look sexy, try wearing dark washed, high waist jeans with a cropped sweater in white or tan and pumps or open-toe sandals.

5. Black

Black jeans are one of the unspoken denim washes that will add boldness to your look! Wear destroyed denim shorts in black, with a matching black top. Try wearing a sleeveless turtleneck to expose your arms, along with aviator or circle sunglasses. If you’re going to an event where you’ll be walking all day, wear a small, black, cross-body handbag.

Wear your hair in a top knot and bring your look together with short, black ankle boots or classic canvas sneakers. If there’s a breeze outside, you can add more style with a light-wash denim jacket that is also destroyed. Or, you can wear a chunky cropped sweater, in black. Wear a bold, red lip that will pop from the all-black pallet.
