After spending quite some time on Tinder, I’ve gotten pretty good at telling the difference between which guys just want sex and which actually want a relationship. It’s not always written in their bios with what they want and sometimes, there’s no bio at all! So here’s a guide to tell a good guy vs. a bad guy on Tinder if you’re just starting out or you’re a pro like me!
A lot of times, you can just tell by looking at a picture of a guy and know he’s sweet. But there are more moments where the guy is very hard to read and his personality could be anything under the sun. Their smile can speak a lot and so can their eyes. So observe them closely before swiping and if they give you any kind of feeling besides interested, then swipe left. Their creepy look can go elsewhere.
Men that actually care for their family and are good with kids are signs of a good guy. Bragging about them and showing them off, too? That’s how you know you matched with a one-of-a-kind guy. You don’t want someone who keeps their family a secret because if you eventually dated that guy, it could cause a lot of issues and you definitely don’t want that.
Guys who don’t have anything written in their bio = guy who just wants sex. They are just on there for hook-ups and they don’t care with who half the time.
A guy who actually puts in work to show their personality in a small blurb of text deserves to be swiped. They could be entertaining in real life! Make sure they will compliment your personality, as well, and not clashing with it. You don’t want to find the exact male version of your personality or the complete opposite of what you want.
Most matches that occur just sit there on your inbox page with you waiting for the guy to message first. And a lot of times, they don’t because they may be waiting for the girl to message first. I believe it’s respectful for a guy to message first and show his interest, so when that happens, keep the convo going!
Yeah, guys can be friends with girls, but if their Tinder profile pics have a girl with his arm around in every single slide, don’t swipe right. You don’t want to immerse yourself in a drama-filled life where he talks to multiple women and claims “they’re just friends” because half the time, they aren’t. It also shows he may just be looking for tonight’s date and then will ghost you right after.
The guy you’re going to swipe right on will have solo pics of himself or with guy friends, family, or large groups of people (which, yes, can include women). Too many pics with other girls will just scare us away and we won’t be able to trust them fully.
P.S. Also I hope you enjoyed these pics of hot famous celebs because I certainly did.
