7 Ways To Stay Motivated When All You Want To Do Is Sleep

Ever had those moments when you are thinking – all I want to do is lie in bed for the whole day? Bed sounds like the best thing for you and the only thing that will make you happy.

Life can be difficult sometimes. Life can be hard. A lot of the time life is not your best friend. It can be difficult on those days to get out of bed. All you want to do is go to sleep. However, it is important you don’t go back to sleep. Here are 7 ways to stay motivated when all you want to do is sleep.

1. Do Some Exercise Every Day

Go for a walk, go for a run, do some yoga, go for a swim. Exercise makes your body produce endorphins. Endorphins are the feel-good hormone helping reduce stress and anxiety, boost your mood and improve your sleep. Get out of bed and make exercise the activity you do first thing in the morning. People often say exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. By doing this, you will feel refreshed and it will make you feel better for the day ahead.

2. Make A List Of Goals Every Day

By writing down a list of goals every day and knowing how you feel after you hit each one can help you stay motivated. But, it is important to focus on each task one at a time. If you end up multi-tasking, it can take a lot of mental energy to focus your mind after being distracted. Just remember the fulfilment you experience at the end of the day after knowing your list of goals is complete!

3. Don’t Overschedule Your Plate

Don’t bombard your schedule with lots of things to do in the day. Accomplishment is a significant feeling when all you want to do is lie in bed and sleep. Focus on positive feelings by reducing these activities and filling yourself with positive people. keeping a journal is a great idea to dispel negative thoughts and only have positive thoughts. Focus on feelings of gratitude!

6. Take Care Of Yourself

It is important to take care of yourself. Make sure to keep a healthy and balanced diet by eating delicious fruits and vegetables. Reward yourself and do things you enjoy – such as watching television, reading a book or listening to music. You must also make sure you sleep enough. Sleeping too much or too little can affect your mood. As people often say, aim to sleep at least eight hours a day.

Most importantly, the first step to staying motivated is to get out of bed. For those who want to sleep in and stay in the comfort of their own homes, getting out of bed and out of your pyjamas will get you motivated for the day.
