It can be easy to get wrapped up in wanting a significant other to do fun things with in the warm weather, but it is important to remember how crucial it is to spend the summer learning to love yourself and focusing on creating a better version of you for the next school year! Here are twenty ways to love yourself this summer without being in a relationship.

1. Journaling

Journaling is a great way to remind yourself of all of the great things about you. Buy a cute journal at Target or Barnes and Noble and spend at least ten minutes every day writing about everything you are thankful for, stressed out about, literally anything. Trust me, it helps with your mental health.

No matter what genre you like, reading is an awesome way to let your mind escape from reality for a little bit! I love crime novels, so grab your favorite book and escape into a whole other world!

Hiking is such a fun way to love yourself, as you can just look at the beauty of nature and boost some serotonin while working a sweat! Alone or with a friend, it is so much fun.
