Every white girl’s favorite season is coming up soon: fall!!! Get ready for those pumpkin spice lattes, plaid and riding boot outfits, and a bunch of cute pumpkin pics with your besties. Fall time doesn’t have to be a typical girl thing to enjoy though; there are plenty of fun activities all of your friends and even your boyfriends can enjoy with you. Here are some fall activities you should try this season.
This one is probably the most obvious/typical fall activity to do during autumn. There are pumpkin patches galore so pick one nearby and get some pumpkins to carve for the Halloween season! You can also take lots of cute pictures for memories with your pals.
It’s the ultimate season to get scared so what better way than to watch scary movies with your friends? This coming fall, there are lots of good new scary movies coming to theaters and being released on TV such as: It Chapter Two, Annabelle Comes Home, Pet Sematary, Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, Child’s Play, Doctor Sleep, Happy Death Day 2U, and Ma.
You will find lots of these in the Midwest, so if you live there, hitting up a corn maze is a fun fall activity! The biggest one is called Richardson’s Farm in Illinois, every year they come up with new designs for a giant corn maze! Enter a maze and find your way back with a map and clues! This can be extra hard and fun at night, so grab some friends (or a date) and get lost for a few hours 😉
Some places do things like hayrides during the fall, so this can also be a very fun fall activity to try! Where I am from, there is a town called McHenry, IL and every season there is a haunted hayride in a park at night. You enter “Deadwood” on this ride, and dressed up people jump out and scare you as you ride through the woods. Perfect during Halloween!
What better fall activity is there than a Halloween party?! Host one yourself or get some friends to do one! Dress up and dance the night away on the best night of the year! Big cities such as Chicago and New York definitely host some of the best Halloween parties as well, so that can also be a great option if you don’t want to host but go out instead!
Beer and fall is a great combination! Check out your local Oktoberfests coming for some fun beer tasting and delicious German food! This is another great fall activity that pretty much anyone can enjoy (especially your guy friends). Plus you can dress up in those adorable dirndl dresses!
Fall is probably the most beautiful time of year due to all of the colors! Take a walk in the park and get some pretty pictures with the leaves and scenery! Make sure to jump in those large piles of leaves of course! Because it is usually not super cold, it is a great fall activity to do outside before the freezing winter comes!
Get those s’mores out and prep a bonfire get-together! Fall is great for bonfires, food, and getting a group of friends together for some storytelling and catching up. And it is the perfect opportunity to snuggle close to your crush 😉
Last but probably the best thing ever about fall: cider and apple cider donuts <3 I am sure most people live for this time of year just for this and I am one of those people! You can typically get these in stores, but the freshest and best tasting cider and donuts will probably come from your local farms and pumpkin patches. This is a perfect fall activity and excuse to get them!
