10 Unique Outfits Perfect For Summer
Creating unique outfits for summer is tricky, especially when all you want to do is stay inside and avoid the 100-degree weather. Use this guide to help get you out of that jean shorts and t-shirt rut!
1. Gingham Shorts and Black Tee
Gingham is a classic print that can be used from season to season. In the winter, wear these shorts with black tights and a sweater, and for the summer tuck in a breezy black tee for one of your unique summer outfits. 2. Printed Palazzo Pants and Bralette
If you don’t have a pair of printed palazzo pants, you need to invest in some. Although they are popular, there are many ways to make this one of your unique outfits for summer. You can find a white bralette just about anywhere, but this one is from PrettyLittleThing. The scalloped lace around the edges make this bralette much more appropriate for outside wear and slightly more unique than your average all lace bralette. Palazzo pants can be found in just about any color combination, and these from Forever21 come in two different color schemes both perfect for the summer season.
2. Linen Pants and Hat
Linen pants are both trendy and airy, making them the perfect summer staple. You can dress them up or down and pair them with just about any summer tops you may already have in your closet. My favorite linen pants are Athleta because they are a great price for the quality you receive. They come in both joggers and wide leg, making them able to work well with each style of top. To protect yourself from the sun, stop at practically any retail store and pick up a floppy hat.
3. Striped Pants and White Tee
Everyone should have a white t-shirt, and if you don’t, check out this one from Forever21 for $3.90. For the most part, unique outfits for summer are created by using your fall pieces in a warm-weather fashion. These striped jeans are no different! Also from Forever21, they are available from a size 24 to a size 31 and fit fairly true to size according to reviews. Plus, vertical stripes make you look taller, making these a perfect summer jean.

A romper is a great way to create a cute and easy outfit to throw on in the mornings. This gingham romper from Lulu’s is only $50.00 which is fairly reasonable for a good quality romper. Pairing it with a classic white converse makes the gingham fabric really stand out. Be careful not to wear this outfit on a rainy day though because the white shoes can get really messy.

5. Two-piece Striped Set
There are hundreds of options for two-piece summer sets in order to make unique outfits. I like this one from Forever21 that includes a crop top and wide leg pants. It retails at $48.00, but they always have sales running. With these two-piece sets, you can both dress them up and down which makes it a perfect day to night outfit.
6. Graphic Tee and Jean Skirt
You can never go wrong with a cute graphic tee. These are usually light and airy and printed with anything from bands, to phrases, to educational prints such as this flower tee from Urban Outfitters. The ’70s are coming back so pair your favorite tee with a raw-hemmed jean skirt. This skirt, also from Urban, is available in both a light wash denim and black so you can choose which is best for the tops you already own.
7. Lightwash Overalls and Undershirt
Overalls are extremely trendy right now, so if you’re wanting to up your unique outfits you’ll want to hunt a little to find the perfect ones. These overalls from American Eagle are fairly cheap for denim and work well for most body types. Add a ripped tee underneath of any color to complete this outfit. I like this one from Forever21 because the stripes make the outfit more you.

This plaid skirt and black crop combo is cute and trendy while also giving you the chance to make it your own. I like this baby blue skirt from Tobi because the button detail makes it unique. You can find a black crop anywhere, but this one from Pretty Little Thing is the perfect balance of loose and tight.

We know from a previous outfit that overalls are super trendy, so find a printed pair to meet your unique outfits standard. By pairing this casual white tank and a cute pair of mom jeans together, you can create an outfit that is comfy, cute and totally Instagrammable! You can find either of these anywhere, but my favorite pair of mom jeans are pretty inexpensive from ASOS and this ripped top is from Lulu’s.
