As Riverdale is one of the most popular television shows out now, we thought it would be a great idea to test your zodiac traits against that of your favourite characters’. Based on the Archie Comics franchise, Riverdale is a darker twist on the American classic. Filled with cults, murders, and jingle jangle, let’s deep dive into the moody world of milkshake loving teenagers.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)
As a dynamic person, you play the role of a leader easily—and well. For this reason you’re most like the Riverdale character Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch). Although Cheryl lost her brother early into the first season, it didn’t stop her from taking charge of the River Vixens. When Cheryl lost her father towards the end of season one, she took natural charge of her family, and helped her mother through the loss. Just like a leader would.

Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) is a creative, stubborn, and dependable Riverdale character—just like you! With a natural tendency to help out his friends, father, and take care of his best friend, Jughead, Archie is a dependable soul who looks after the people closest to him however he can. When Hiram Lodge is intimidating Veronica and Fred, it is Archie that makes it his duty to take care of them—even if it lands him in jail …
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray) is a curious woman with an expressive personality, as she puts her trials and tribulations within her music. Just like you, Josie wears her heart on her sleeve, but she keeps her head up and doesn’t let people hurt her feelings without her permission. She always wants to make her mother proud, doing what is right by her, but she also needs time to live her own dreams like succeeded in the music industry.
Cancer (July 21 – June 22)
Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) is a smart and tenacious Riverdale character who won’t settle until the truth is available for everyone to know. Growing up around two journalists means that she was always going to be ready with a pen in her hand for a good story.
Betty looks after her family and friends, but knows that there is more to life than following the crowd. Although she loves Jughead, she won’t let his feelings or opinions get in the way of her own.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Penelope Blossom (Nathalie Boltt) is a strong woman who knows what she wants and how to get it. Sure, the things she wants may not suit your desires, but just like every Leo, she’s loud and proud and not afraid to speak her truth. Being adopted at a young age to the family who planned to wed her to their son is a trying thing for any child to go through (not to mention, it’s illegal), but Penelope bounces back to live the life she wants to through her outgoing personality.
Virgo (August 25 – September 22)
Veronica Lodge (Camilla Mendes) is a perfectionist, even if the actions of her mother and father do not always suit this. Like a lot of the other characters in this show, she is not afraid to use questionable tactics to get what she wants. Although her father is a controlling criminal mastermind with a serious revenge complex for Archie Andrews, Veronica doesn’t let this fact get in the way from owning and running her own non-alcoholic speakeasy.
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Alice Cooper (Madchen Amick) may have interesting parenting tactics and may surround herself with interesting characters, but you can’t deny she puts her heart fully into everything she does. When Betty has trouble adjusting, Alice makes sure to put her in what she believes is the best care—The Sisters of Quiet Mercy—and when she finds out that her husband is a serial killer she decides to join a “farm” (or cult). Although normal people may question Alice’s tactics, she’s always partially unharmed in the end, and always has Betty to bail her out.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 22)
Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) is the Riverdale character who narrates every episode. He is also the leader of the Serpents gang, and regular loner who writes in the local diner.
He’s an all-rounder.
Jughead is also the partner to Betty in both love and journalism. Juggy knows how to get to the bottom of a story, often by putting his life on the line for the facts. If he’s not out looking for or documenting the true story of Riverdale, he is out being the best friend, brother, and son he can. Jughead uses his passion and bravery to look after the three people he loves the most. Although he gets himself into tight situations, he always manages to get out in the end, while looking after his friends.
Sagittarius (November 23 – December 21)
Kevin Keller (Casey Cott) is the outspoken and generous Riverdale character who cares strongly for his closest friends, and his father. When he’s not trying to be himself without judgement, he’s helping his friends solve the murder of Jason Blossom, unmask the Black Hood, and finding the Gargoyle King. Between solving these crimes and juggling worrying for his father as Sheriff, it’s a good thing he has his optimistic personality to help.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos) is a tough and serious individual. Between caring for his wife and daughter, he has a pretty quiet life. Just kidding. Hiram is a criminal mastermind who pays off anyone that gets in his way. Whether this is the gang that rivals the Serpents, police, or Mayors, Hiram has his fingers in many pies. Somehow he also finds time to get between Archie and Veronica.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
Toni Topaz (Vanessa Morgan) is an independent formal member of the Serpents, current member of the Pretty Poisons. When she’s not busy being apart of a gang, she’s the girlfriend of Blossom heir, Cheryl Blossom. After leaving South Side High, Toni is brought into Riverdale High and after being exiled from the Serpents for not abiding by rules, she is introduced to a new gang, the Pretty Poisons. Toni’s other interests include representing her Native American and finding a family—whether through the Serpents, the Pretty Poisons, or the Farm.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Fred Andrews (R.I.P Luke Perry) is a loving, single father and businessman. He is a born and raised citizen of Riverdale. Fred is known around town as a caring man and supportive father of Archie. When Fred is shot, many of the members of Riverdale are shocked and upset. When Fred is not running a construction business, he is caring for his son, and protecting him from the reach of Hiram Lodge.
