1. Cook Well from Waitrose

The Cook Well from Waitrose range is definitely very customisable – you can choose to get either two or three meals for one or two people. The menu changes every week, so you can expect some exciting new meals to indulge in.

2. HelloFresh

HelloFresh is another great food subscription box that you can tailor to your needs. You can order between three and five meals per week, and there are three types of boxes to choose from. The Family Box includes recipes that are perfect for the entire family, the Classic Box is stock-full of delicious recipes to enjoy on a daily basis, and the Rapid Box has great recipes that take under 20 minutes to make.

I’ve tried the Classic Box and I can say that their recipes are all really good quality but they’re nothing special. However, it’s still a great alternative to frantically searching for last-minute dinner ideas.

3. SimplyCook

Rated as the UK’s best food subscription box, SimplyCook is definitely worth a try if you’re looking for an easier solution to dinner. All of their recipes take between 15 and 20 minutes, so you won’t have to worry about losing time preparing fancy and confusing meals. They also have tons of recipes from around the world, so you’ll be able to explore different cuisines without having to leave the house.

One thing to keep in mind is that this isn’t a traditional food subscription box but rather a meal kit box, which means that you’ll have to add 4-6 fresh food items to every meal. This, in turn, means that you’ll have to pay extra for every meal.
