A common trend going around all young people right now is everyone’s lack of money. Everyone is skint at the moment. Whether you’re a student or a full time worker, we could all do with ways to earn extra cash from time to time – and fast.

There are loads of different ways you can earn extra cash on the side, so you don’t have to live off of carrots and rice for the next few weeks. Here are he top ways to earn extra cash this summer.

1. Market Research

Market research is a great way to earn cash and quick. Big companies need to do research to find out what the public want. Sometimes its food, sometimes its just your opinion. Sometimes you can get up to £100 for a couple of hours of your time.


2. Temp Job

If you’re really short on cash and work full time or study. It might be a good idea just to get a temp job on the side, they can last from as little as 1 day to as long as years. They’re perfect when you don’t want to commit to anything necessarily and just need a job to earn extra cash – this is great around the holidays.

3. Event Job

All year round there are tonnes for events that happen across the world.During summer and spring though, these events occur far more often. There are events happening all of the time from festivals and concerts, to high class dinners and award shows. Getting a job at an event can often get you some decent money. Usually you only have to work a weekend or so and get a solid wage, plus tips!


4. High interest savings account

Open a savings account that gives you a high return. Loads of banks will give you up to 5% interest on your savings monthly. With this you just have to have money to earn money, the more you start with the more you make back. But its definitely worth making a start. Every little helps.

People have busy lives, and people also love pets. Pet sitting is a lovely way to earn extra cash, especially if you’re an animal lover. Sometimes you only need to look after them for a day or two, sometimes its a few days while their owners are away on holiday.

Yes, this is a risky way to make money but investing a little can sometimes go a long way. You just have to know what to invest in. So if you’re serious, do some research, speak to professionals and start making money!

Much like market research big brands want to know your opinion on things. Expect this time you barely need to leave your bed. These surveys can take as little as 1 minute to complete but will likely not pay much. So you’ll have to complete quite a few to make a decent return.

Product feedback is super important for sellers. Sometimes you can get paid on specific websites to write a review on a product.

9. Secret Shopping

Businesses and companies need people to give honest reviews on their products without them knowing. That’s where you come in. They’ll pay you to go to a restaurant or retail store and buy and item, you may have to ask a few questions and be a bit of a pesky customer but you’ll get a free item plus a little extra cash on the side,

No risk betting is a completely non risky way to bet. Its a technique used to guarantee profit by using free bets and incentives given by betting sites – usually their aim is to rope you in while you get that sweet sweet taste of winning. But remember its not risk free when you start using your own money.
