Upset Stomach is a British London based band, that as you can probably tell by the name cant necessarily be put into one simple category. The closest I could describe would be alternative pop indie vibes. They consist of two gals and two guy’s which all have their own unique personality and charm. They’ve recently released an album, and will be doing a midlands/north England tour this spring. This band is full of energy, life and creativity and their charming character ensure’s you’ll always have an awesome and slightly unusual experience watching them. They’ve released two weirdly awesome videos which definitely catches your eye. They’re 100% worth checking out! 2019 is going to be a big year for this super current band.

They promote female empowerment and women’s rights, and have a really fun energetic powerful presence on stage, as well ads being incredibly talented at what they do. They address political topics and represent diversity and equality for all people. They’re definitely a group you want to fuck with but not fuck off!
Airwaves are a multinational indie band, who’s sound are very much like their title. Their music is very easy breezy and airy. The have around 5 albums out and are currently touring around the UK. They have a very calming and relaxing vibe, and front woman and singer has a unique tone to her voice.
Wutip is a pop punk band based in London. They have recently released a few singles and music videos and often do a variety of shows around London. There sound is energetic and fun, and from this you can feel their charm and enthusiasm. They don’t usually do covers as their music writing is powerful and unique, but when they do its a complete new spin on the original and you really feel their character.
Yes IAMDDB, originally based in Manchester, is not technically a band, however her presence and energy both on and off stage is definitely band worthy. You might of seen her at supporting shows and on ‘The Color Show’, slowly creeping in from the shadows. All of her songs are beautifully produced and her voice is unique and gorgeous. She and is truly brilliant and talented and fully about to come up strongly this year!
This Japanese born and bread band, can be described as a combo of disco, pop, dance music. They’re awesome to see live or bang out at your next party. They incorporate western music with a traditional Japanese twist, and the language switching is truly unique and interesting. This is definitely a band to check out this year if you’re looking for something easy to listen to and truly different.
Based in London with members from Adelaide in Australia. They initially formed as a duo, and recorded while on the road in Iceland, then eventually became a quintet, while incorporating a mixture of genre’s and styles. They contain dance pop elements with a nostalgic nod to Pink Floyd. This band is super happy go lucky and always smiling which you can feel in their music and makes them great performers – along with undeniable talent.
Scribble Victory is an acoustic indie pop band from Derby UK, they’re truly mesmerizing to watch and listen to and are known for turning heads at their live shows with their powerful acoustic sound and soft but impactful drum kit.
