Unique And Creative Date Ideas To Do In London

Creative date ideas to do in London may be just what you need to spice up your date nights. Restaurant dates and evenings at the bar can be romantic if the mood and date are right, however, they can start to feel a little repetitive. If you’re tired of the usual dates and need a change of pace then why not go somewhere new and try new experiences? Whether it’s trying a new cuisine with your date or trying a new and exciting activity that’ll have the two of you bonding. Make your date nighs more memorable and fun by doing something different! Here’s a list of unique and creative date ideas to do in London!

Have fun at an arcade

There are a bunch of arcades dotted around the city that you can hit up when you’re both free. Going to an arcade lets you see the fun side of your date and you can both laugh together or get competitive over some of the games. You also get the opportunity to talk to each other and work together on any co-op arcade games – why not test your communication over an intense shooting game?

Take a stroll in a conservatory

Being surrounded by wildlife and plants is an instant mood-lifter and something about it just makes you feel better. There are so many conservatories around London that you can visit on your next date. Kew Gardens in Richmond is the most famous, but there are also other options like Sky Garden and the Barbican Conservatory. So why not take a stroll through the flora riddled paths and maybe even take some pictures while you’re at it. These locations also offer food and drinks, and they’re great places to visit no matter the season.

Grab some nitrogen ice cream at Chin Chin Labs

If you want to try something new, then food needs to be in the picture. London is a fantastic food hub and offers any type of cuisine or meal that you’re looking for. If you want to try something small or fun, then head down to Chin Chin Labs in Camden or Soho for some unique nitrogen ice cream!

Have a game of crazy golf

To spice up your late-night dates, why not have a fun game of crazy golf. London has a range of crazy gold locations throughout the city, but Swingers is highly recommended. At Swingers, you can pick from a selection of crazy golf courses and waiters also bring you cocktails as you putt. If you’re feeling peckish afterwards the clubhouse offers plenty of food. Swingers has two locations in London, Swingers West End, just outside Oxford Circus station and Swingers City, between Aldgate and Bank. You can book in advance or simply walk up, just keep in mind that Swingers is a strictly 18+ venue.

Watch the sunset together

Living in London, you’re often swept away by the hustle and bustle of the city. Life can get bust here and sometimes you need to take a break and get a breather. Going to the park is a great solution, but why not take it a step further and watch the sun setting on the city too? Greenwich Park and Primrose Hill are perfect locations to watch the sunset together. It’s best to save this date idea for the warmer months though.

Go see a planetarium show together

The Peter Harrison Planetarium is the only planetarium in London, it can be found at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. Tickets for the planetarium shows are cheap and also come with a “Young Person and Students” discount for 16-25-year-olds. This means its just £5 for the usual £8 ticket, which is still affordable. There are four different shows that you can watch and they last from half an hour to 45 minutes. If you want something that’s a little more romantic then the show, “The Sky Tonight” is perfect. They run shows every day at set times, so just make sure to check the website in advance! You can walk in but it’s recommended that you buy your tickets online.
