With lots of rides to get your heart pumping, Alton Towers is one of Britain’s top themes parks that you absolutely have to visit. Some of their most famous rides include Nemesis and Oblivion, which definitely aren’t for the faint of heart. In fact, this place is living ahead of its time – they’ve even got virtual reality rollercoasters! Alton Towers is even considered to be one of the UK’s most varied theme parks, so there will be something to do for everyone. 4. Drayton Manor

This is one of the UK theme parks that is perfect for both experienced riders and those that are new to the thrill of roller coasters. Aside from the rides, there are also plenty of gardens that are full of animals, so you could explore the wildlife once you’ve had enough of the coasters. Drayton Manor features the Apocalypse, which is an incredible 54-metre tower that will send the adrenaline rushing through our veins in no time. It’s the perfect family location for a weekend away – the storybook appearance and the familiar characters will definitely keep your younger siblings satisfied. There is also a sea life enclosure and a zoo, so there’ll be plenty to explore. The tickets start at only £29, which is a good price to pay for some unforgettable moments spent with your family.
