I’m graduating this year, as are a lot of my friends. It’s scary – for the first time ever we have absolutely no responsibilities and no structure, and for some it may be difficult trying to figure out what to do next, especially if you don’t quite know what it is you want to do with your life yet. That’s okay, though – something I didn’t know or realise is that there are so many graduate schemes and graduate employability options out there, lots of which train you in general work-life skills. Even if you start out at one place, it doesn’t mean you have to be working there in five years’ time! Here, we’ve compiled some of the top companies to work for in the UK – get planning!
They have an internship program, as well as allowing insight into commerce and fashion. They have a great ethos, and value giving back to the community. Recently ranked #3 on The Times ‘Best Companies to Work For’ list, and according to the report its staff were the proudest to work for Innocent out of all the other companies reviewed!
They offer paid puppy leave. As in, if you get a dog, you get paid time off to help the dog readjust. Which is all you need, really.
Not only are they one of the best-known companies in the world, they also give their employees free food. They regularly rank very highly on employee satisfaction, too. Their London offices offer business, MBA and software engineering internships!
Definitely one of the most exciting, ambitious (albeit somewhat problematic) companies to work for. You’ll definitely learn a lot, here. They’ve internships and graduate placements covering everything from product marketing management to UX research.

Their graduate scheme has five different ‘streams’: Fundraising and marketing, corporate partnerships, policy and information, science communication and human resources.
