Those of you who wear makeup know how hard it is to get that perfect winged eyeliner, whether you’ve just begun or you’ve been doing it for years, eyeliner never seems to get any easier. That’s why we’ve gathered some top tips for getting that perfect wing.
This is for those of you who mess up frequently and have to start all over again. Instead, try to use some concealer to cover your mistakes and also sharpen the winged line.
There’s nothing worse than going for that nice big eyeliner only for it to mess up. I would say a key tip is slowly building the wing, start small and then work your way up from there.
For any beginners out there who wants to get it right first time, some tape can help you get into the habit of doing your eyeliner and eventually you’ll be able to do it on your own. Just get some tape and press it onto the outer corner of your eye and draw your winged liner from there.
If you don’t have any tape at home, you can look for a card and hold it against the edge of your eyes diagonally and use it to help you perfect that eyeliner.
5. Connet the dots!
This popular eyeliner trick is great for those of you who need a little guidance. Just draw some dots on the top of your lashline where you want your eyeliner to be and then fill them in. You’ll have your perfect winged liner soon enough!
If you’re not a fan of using concealer to cover up your mistakes, makeup remover is a good alternative. Why not simply erase your mistakes and at the same time, create the perfect winged eyeliner.
This is for those of you who struggle with creating your wing in the first place. All you do is lay the pen flat down where you will be making your wing and that will make the wing for you. From there just do the rest of your eyeliner.
