The upcoming summer months has got me excited. It’s time to break out that summer wardrobe, those bikinis, shorts, and sunscreen! Another thing that you should be on the lookout for to switch up this summer is your summer makeup. Check out my top ten summer makeup looks that will make you want to fast-forward to summertime.
This first makeup look is the perfect balance of that summer bronze and that summer glow. What other time would you break out that bronze and glow? Enhance that beach day tan with a beautiful matte bronzer that gives you a chiselled goddess look, and dust the high points on your face with a generous amount of your favourite blinding highlighter. Make sure to get your cheekbones, brow bone, inner corners, tip of your nose, and cupid’s bow for maximum glow. The simple brow shadow and classic black winged liner is the perfect combination that levels out the bronze and glow on the face.
This is one of the more minimum summer makeup looks. It is bound to keep your face fresh but still looking snatched. The simple brow tint, thin layer of mascara, and a barely there nude gloss is just enough for you to look put together, fresh, and gorgeous without weighing your skin down with too much, especially in the hot weather. The little to no face makeup will let your natural summer glow shine through on your skin. If you want a little extra coverage, dab some concealer on the parts you want to cover.
This is a more bold and daring look for those who like a pop of colour or like to go to parties. This is one of the most glowy summer makeup looks that highlights your face with an added holographic edge. Dust the high points of your face generously with a bright pink metallic highlight, and match your eye shadow with pops of shimmery metallic green and purple hues. Lastly pop on some duo chrome gloss as a final touch. Sure to turn heads and help you dance the night away!
Hop on the dewy skin trend perfect for the summer with this beautiful look. Opt for a dewy finish foundation, BB cream, or tinted moisturiser and use little to no powder to set for that healthy glowing skin. Pop on some faux freckles with a brown liner or some brow products for a cheeky and playful look. This look is topped off some simple inner corner highlight, a pair of wispy bold falsies, and an orangey coral matte lip.
This simple bronzey makeup look adds a smudge of colour on the eyes for a slight bit of definition. The lashes are enhanced with a little bit of mascara to pull the look together. The bronzey glow is added all too the face with bronzer. A beautiful flushed blushing element is added to this makeup look with the generous use of the subtly pink coral blush, giving the look a flirty and romantic look perfect for the summer. Finally, the timeless red lip brings the look all together.
