The premise is really a front for a much deeper show exploring lots of relevant topics in today’s world. The seasons get darker as they go along but maintain the comedic overtones making for a really great show.
The pinnacle of quirky 90’s comedies, the nanny is an easy to watch series following Fran Fine, a Jewish sales girl from flushing, as she tries to fit in as a high-end family’s nanny. Most of the episodes are available on YouTube too so it’s ridiculously easy to watch!
The ass-kicking vampire slayer had an 8-season run for a reason. Sarah Michelle Gellar plays the amazing Buffy as she juggles school, boys, and vampire slaying. Typical everyday teenage girl things. The series is easy to get stuck into and makes for a great way to waste a rainy day.
