The oil-based cleanser: Clinique Take The Day Off

Clinique Take The Day Off is one of the best makeup removers I have ever tried. It does exactly what it says and is perfect for all skin types. You can get this wonderful product from a few beauty retailers both online and in store, Boots being one of them, retailing at £24. This may seem like a lot of money, but you only need a small amount, so this product will last you for quite a long time. The product transforms from a solid balm, to a silky fluid oil when it is rubbed into dry skin. You can use it on eyes, lips and face and you can massage it into a complete face of heavy makeup. This silky product will actually feel like a facial in your own home. Once washed off with warm water, your skin will feel truly clean and wonderful, with no mascara residue.

A drugstore winner: Garnier Micellar Water

If you are looking for something that doesn’t break the bank ,  both Boots and Superdrug stock Garnier Micellar Water which is perfect for anybody with sensitive skin, as it has no perfume in the formula, it is retailed at £4.99. If you want something that doesn’t require much effort, then this is the perfect product for you. Simply apply to a cotton pad and apply all over the face, lips and eyes. No rinsing is required which is perfect after a long day. The micellar aspect cleanses the skin like a magnet lifting the makeup, to remove dirt and impurities.

Something for the eyes: Lancôme Bi-Facial

This non-oily instant eye makeup remover is £21.50 and can be bought from selected retailers, Look Fantastic being one of them. It is the perfect product for stubborn eye makeup such as mascara and eye liner. This product is especially perfect for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers as it gently removes the makeup.
