Concerts are some of the best experiences that will almost guarantee a lot of unforgettable memories. Seeing your favourite artists live is something crazy and thrilling. But concerts also tend to get quite crowded and can be overwhelming, so here are my top 10 concert tips to make your experience the best!
The easiest bag to carry around is the backpack. It is hands-free, no-fuss, storage friendly, and will be your best friend during a concert. During a concert in the middle of a crowd, the last thing you want is a bag that is constantly slipping off your shoulder or one that won’t fit all your things. A small backpack will hold everything you need and will be hassle free during the concert!
Making sure you have enough water to keep your body comfortably hydrated is crucial during a long hot concert. In a big pushy crowd, during a long rowdy concert, it’s easy to feel lightheaded and nauseous. Drinking enough water ensures that your body can get through the concert.
The last thing you want at a concert is to be weighed down by everything you’ve brought, so make sure to pack only the things you absolutely need.
Concerts end late and leaving the concert takes more time than you think because of the crowds. Making sure you have a fully charged power bank will make sure that it won’t be a disaster even if your phone runs out of battery. This might just save you and make sure that you get home on time and in one piece.
Create memories at your concert! There’s no better way to do this than to take videos and photos while you are there. This way you will always be able to look back on the amazing experience whenever you want to.
There’s nothing better than sharing a memory with a friend at a concert. Either go with a big group or a couple of close friends and sing at the top of your lungs with them! It will be a great bonding experience, and it will make memories that will stay with you guys forever.
A big part of going to a concert is standing in line. This isn’t the most fun part, but it is always inevitable. Make sure you arrive an hour or two before the door time to make sure that you won’t end up standing in line for ages (especially if its cold and wet outside!). Waiting in line is also a great time to meet new people who share the same love for the artist!
Concerts last for hours and end late. Getting a good hearty meal in before you go in will make sure you last comfortably all night long.
Concerts get hot when you’re cramped in with lots of other people and you’re dancing around singing at the top of your lungs. Wearing layers is a great way to combat that so you can take them off or put them on as you please. This is especially important if its cold outside while you are waiting in line, this way you can shed some layers when it gets warm inside.
Concerts are large crowds packed tightly together. People will always be trying to move forward and get to the rails. But I would advise remembering your manners and not shove or push other people just to move forward. Everyone is there for a good time, so just move forward in an orderly manner if the opportunity comes up instead of pushing and shoving.
