The 71st annual Cannes Film Festival 2018 didn’t disappoint when it came to delivering chic and glamour styled with confidence. Icons from across the world gathered to celebrate the incredible work put into the international film industry. The annual gala dinner glistened with beauty through confidence with an expression of achieving self-vision and individuality. Here are some top picks of the celebrities who validated this to their full potential.

Penelope Cruz was recognized at the festival for her role in “Todos lo Saben” and “Cold War” by styling Chanel in white and black with poise, demonstrating that you don’t need to be excessive to stand out.

Cate Blanchett sophisticates an opaque gown with floral print.

Jury president Cate Blanchett, was also recognized for her role in the movie “Cold War” and vogued a stunning blue floral gown down the red carpet. The beautiful gown was designed by Mary Katrantzou and demonstrates that you can still style floral creatively as we transition into summer.

Naomi Campbell knows rocked a  Dolce & Gabanna piece at the Cannes Film Festival 2018.

Naomi Campbell who is the spokeswoman for the “Fashion for Relief” campaign, made  a stunning entrance onto the red carpet in an elegantly designed black and white gown. Adding a dash of silver sparkle takes away anything that is considered to be borderline plain, and transforms it into an outfit fit for an icon.

Ava DuVernay styled a two-piece colour co-ordinated gown made up of  orange and pink put together by Greta Constantine.

Ava DuVernay sure knows how to express the summer tones with the addition of Jimmy Choo heels, demonstrating a creative way to use bold colours in a dynamic way and manifest joy, at the world premiere of “Blackkklansman” joined by Chang Cheng.

Julianne Moore wore a beautiful Givenchy Haute Couture in ruby red.

The sewn feathers added subtlety as did the incredibly intricate design of revealing arms and shoulders. The dress signals empowerment and Julianna Moore definitely justified it with confidence by making a statement by wearing the colour red on the red carpet.
