10 Staple Pieces Of Jewellery Everyone Should Own
Jewellery is such a simple way of classing up any outfit, and sometimes popping on a few pieces of simple jewellery items can make you feel a million pounds. There are some items of jewellery that everyone should own, they are staple items that can be used for various occasions, and even no occasion at all.
1. Dainty Necklace
A dainty necklace is one that you can wear every day, in fact, I very rarely take mine off. It gives your neck and chest a little sparkle but also does not draw too much attention. It is just a nice addition to any outfit. Etsy has some adorable ones with opals and stones on a simple silver chain, the link for which is below.
2. Simple Studs
Possibly the first piece of Jewellery most of us own, an oldie but goodie. Having a variety of simple studs that you can swap and change as you feel. Different shaped studs are so cute and can give the impression that you’ve made an effort.

3. Big Hoops
Everyone should own a nice big pair of hoops. They are earrings that can go from day to night so easily, hair tied up and a casual outfit makes them suitable for the daytime and once you’ve let your hair the hoops can peak through and creating an evening look. You can find some nice ones at the link below.

4. Statement Necklaces
What else is there to say about these other than that if you want to make a statement then you need a few of these. You can add them to a plain outfit to give it that little bit extra. Most shops will have something similar to the one pictured below but I’ve linked to one from Next.

5. Cleavage Necklace
This item is a bit saucy but is great for when you are wearing a scoop or v neck shirt during the day or for a low cut top in the evening. I really like this style of a necklace as it can make a simple outfit a bit fancier. When wearing low cut tops especially the chest can look a bit bare so it’s nice to have an item of Jewellery like this to add some sparkle.

7. Anklet
This is an underrated piece of jewellery which you can dress up or down. With some ankle length jeans and some sneakers they can look adorable and if you want to dress it up more with heels and a dress then you can also do that and it will look incredible either way.

8. Helix Hoop
I know that not everyone has their helix pierced but if you do then the thin hoops are a great touch to a pierced ear. With the addition of some small dangly earring, the ear looks minimal but beautiful.

9. Midi Ring
I love wearing regular rings but I feel they are more sentimental than midi rings. The aesthetic of having most of your hand covered in delicate midi rings is one I always aspire to. Etsy have a massive collection of midi rings in all different types of metal.

10. Thumb Ring
Thumb rings are arguably the best type of ring, the never get in your way when writing or typing but they are still an elegant piece of jewellery that should be a staple in your collection.
