10 Refreshing Drink Recipes That Will Quench Your Thirst

The best thing after a long hot day is to just sit for a moment and enjoy the freshness of a nice, juicy, drink. In this article 5 refreshing drink recipes that will quench your thirst!

1. Watermelon Lemonade

Watermelon is maybe the most refreshing fruit, imagine a lemonade made with it! Half your watermelon and scoop the flesh into a blender. Process until smooth and strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds. Juice the lemons and add them to the watermelon juice and a generous amount of ice cubes to a large pitcher. Serve in individual glasses by adding a few slices of lemon and mint. Drink it!

2. Acai Gin Tonic

The perfect one to post on Instagram for its stylish purple color! Fill your glass with ice, pour 45ml of the best quality Gin you can find, pour the juice of 1 lime and add a spoon of Acai. Garnish with a flower and voilá!

3. Ginger, Honey and Lemon

This classic one is always so healthy and refreshing. It is the perfect one for your detox days. After you took off the skin from your Ginger piece, put it in a bowl full of water and wait for it to boil. Take the Ginger piece off and pour the aromatic water into a glass. Add a spoon of honey, squeeze a slice of lemon and leave it inside. leave the drink in the fridge and just wait for it to be very fresh!

4. Shaken Coffe

The perfect if you are a caffeine lover and you can’t leave without coffee even in the hottest days. Start putting inside the freezer the glass where you want to pour your drink. Then, take the shaker and fill it with 8 or 10 ice cubes and a spoon of brown sugar. Pour 100g of coffee inside and shake it for 10 seconds. Pour it all on your frozen glass and enjoy!

5. Flowers and Fruits Appetizer

One of our favorite between all the drink recipes! Put into as mixer 250g of raspberries with 450g of bananas juice. And mix them first. Add later 660g of  Ginger Beer and mix it all with a spoon. Cut the fresh ginger in slices and put them at the top of the glass and end the decoration with mint and flowers. It looks so nice!

6. Pomegranate Moscow Mule

First of all, collect all your 400g pomegranate seeds into a bowl. Mix them with a mixer and sift the juice. Add the juice of 2 lime and 4 spoons of sugar. Leave it for a while. Take the glasses you want to use and wet their rim with the lime and frost it up with sugar. Cut 4 slices of sugar and 2 of lime and put them on the glass. Pour each glass with 45g of Vodka, 80g of Ginger Beer and 1/4 of the Pomegranate juice. Stir and garnish and one of your favorite drink recipes is ready to drink!

7.  Sparkling Limoncello Cocktail

Made with only 3 simple ingredients, this is a very easy and fast one. Measure 1 shot of limoncello and pour it into the serving glass. Add 2 shots of lemon soda and top up with prosecco. Add 1-2 ice cubes and garnish with sprigs of mint and slices of a freshly cut lemon. Enjoy!

8. GrapeFruit Mojito

Add 3 spoons of sugar and 3spoons of water to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook until sugar dissolves, 1-2 minutes. Set aside and cool. Add 20 springs fresh mint and 4 spoons of lime juice to each glass muddle to bring out the flavor of the mint. Top each glass with ice. Pour in 2 ounces of rum and 2 of grapefruit juice and  Stir. Top off each glass with sparkling water and garnish with slices of grapefruit and mint! You will love it!

9. Avocado and Lime Margarita

The dear Avocado can’t miss in our drink recipes! It is not actually so popular to find this ingredient on drinks but we found this tasty Margarita! To make it, place 1/2 avocado, 90ml of tequila, 60ml triple sec, 45ml of lime juice, a pinch of salt, chopped coriander leaves and a cup of ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Shake well until avocado is completely blended and creamy. Fill two 300ml highball tumblers with ice cubes. Strain the cocktail over the ice in the two glasses. Sprinkle with a dash of additional salt. Garnish with coriander sprigs and lime slice…and taste it straight away!

10. Strawberries Iced Latte

Last but not least, this original fresh drink! In a tempered glass jug or measuring cup, add  4 Strawberries Tea Bags and a cup of sugar. Pour boiled water over the tea bags and stir to help dissolve the sugar. Let the tea bags brew for about 5 – 10 minutes for a good concentrate. Discard tea bags. In a blender or with a fork, pour  8 Strawberries, then mix into the Tea concentrate. To serve, in a glass add some ice, then pour about an ounce of the Tea and Strawberry concentrate into the bottom, top off with Coconut Milk and a few slices of Strawberries. Enjoy your milky drink!
