1. The Know It All
This brainbox is the student at Glasgow Caledonian University who knows all about the lectures before even attending the lecture. They are profusely making notes on every lecture slide and always have questions to ask the lecturer. Although this person can come across quite big-headed about the subject, this person is usually really helpful if you’re struggling with any assignments, understanding the lectures or if you have any questions about your course in general.
2. The Quiet Reclusive One

You can learn a lot from your fellow coursemates as you can lean on them for support and they can help you with your studies. They are also great at helping you to become more confident and comfortable in class so you will enjoy going to your lectures and seminars more. Most importantly, you want your time at Glasgow Caledonian University to be a great experience so get involved and create new memories with your coursemates!
3. The Class Clown

No matter where you are, if you’re in school, at university or working in an office, there is always a slacker about. Glasgow Caledonian University is no different, you’ll find that this person barely ever attends class but (shockingly) is somehow still attending university. Although this person is usually behind on coursework and turns up hungover 99% of the time, they are also some of the most interesting people to talk to. They will keep you up to date with what’s happening around Glasgow at all times and also tell you funny stories from their wild nights out that they always go on.
6. The Stress Head
Experiencing stress at university is normal and is manageable for the most part but when you run into the stress head, you become the most aggravated and agitated version of yourself. Suddenly, the brilliant schedule you made for getting your assignments and studies done is no longer achievable and your stress has now gone into overdrive. You don’t want this to happen so try and not let the stresshead get to you because everyone works at different rates and studies differently so do what works for you. You can even try and calm down the stresshead and offer them some support because you’re all going through a similar experience and sometimes they just need someone to help motivate them.

Did you know they took a gap year? This sightseer will never let you forget that they took a gap year and went travelling around Asia for a few months even if you’re now in your final year at university. All jokes aside, this person usually has great holiday recommendations or places to travel to after you finish university so definitely check in with this person if you’re wanting to go travelling after graduation!
