10 People You Will Always Run Into At The University Of South Wales

There are so many different types of people studying at The University of South Wales. As you settle into the semester, you start seeing the same familiar faces. They’re in your class, on the way to class, in the cafeteria, sometimes you can’t avoid them. Keep reading for the 10 people you will always run into at The University of South Wales!

1. The Goths/Alternative People

You may not run into many of them, but you’re more than likely to see a few goths on the Atrium campus at some point, as it’s the creative hub for USW and where individuality is welcomed!

2. The Fashion Squad

The fashion courses are now taught at the Atrium along with other creative courses, so you’ll know they’re coming with the clicking of their heels!

3. The Enthusiasts

It’s common place to see University students rocking their USW hoodies, in a range of different colours. They’re definitely useful to have during this winter season.

4. The Experimentalists

You’ll spot these people by their colourful hair and alternative style.

5. The Athletes!

You’ll see these folks on the Treforest campus where all the sports activities take place, rocking basketball shorts and cheer leading outfits.

6. The ones who are still hungover.

Just like with any University, students at USW love to drink and party, so it’s inevitable that you’ll run into someone who is hungover if not still drunk.

7. The Smokers

You’ll usually catch these on the front steps to the Atrium.

Just look in the mirror because you probably belong to this group, as do most of us!

9. The Ghosts!

These individuals are the students that you saw the first week of class and now never see because they either don’t come in or have left the course – Boo!

10. The Caffeine Addicts

Follow the paper trail of used coffee cups and energy drink bottles to find this group. Admittedly there’s probably more than one trail. This is university after all.
