Cajun Chicken Pasta

You don’t need to be Jaime Oliver to cook pasta nicely, therefore our recipes won’t be super tough either. Our first one is Cajun Chicken Pasta, which is for all the chicken lovers out there. You’ll need 115 grams linguine pasta, 2 boneless chicken breast halves, 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 red bell pepper sliced, 1 red bell paper sliced, 4 fresh mushrooms sliced, 1 green onion chopped, 1 cup heavy cream, some dried basil, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, lemon pepper, salt, and garlic powder.

Boil a large pot of lightly salted water, add pasta and cook for 10 minutes, then drain. Place the chicken and the Cajun seasoning in a plastic bag and shake to coat. Then, saute in the chicken in butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the bell peppers, mushrooms and green onion and stir for 2-3 minutes. Reduce the heat! Now add the cream, basil, lemon pepper, and garlic powder, heat through. Add the cooked pasta and toss. Sprinkle some Parmesan and you’re ready to eat!

Creamy Pesto Shrimp Pasta

The second one of our pasta recipes incorporates the nation’s favourite – pesto – with some fancy shrimps. For this one prepare 1/2 cup butter, 2 cups of heavy cream, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/3 cup pesto, 450 grams large shrimp and 450 grams linguine pasta.

Boil a large pot of lightly salted water, add the pasta and cook for 10 minutes, then drain. In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in cream and season with pepper, then cook 6 to 8 minutes while stirring constantly. Afterward, stir the Parmesan into cream sauce, stir it until it’s thoroughly mixed. Add the pesto and cook for up to 5 minutes until it’s thickened. Finally, stir in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink. Then serve!

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

We feel hungry just by reading its name, to be honest. Prepare 1 package cheese tortellini, 1 can diced tomatoes with garlic, 1 cup fresh chopped spinach, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1 teaspoon minced garlic, 2 tablespoons flour, 3/4 cup milk, 3/4 cup heavy cream and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.

Cook the tortellini until tender, for about 10 minutes. While the tortellini’s cooking, mix the tomatoes, spinach, salt, pepper, garlic, and basil together in a large pan over medium heat. Cook and stir until there are bubbles. Then, in a medium bowl, whisk the flour, milk, and cream. Stir the mixture into a pan along with the Parmesan, heat through then reduce it to low and stir until it’s thick. Drain the tortellini, then pour them into the pan with the sauce, stir and serve!

One Pot Mexican Pasta

All of the pasta recipes so far have been somewhat more or less challenging, so we’re including some easy ones for when you’re tired or lazy and just want to eat! For this Mexican pasta, you’ll need some Cheddar cheese, salsa, corn, beans, a tomato, avocado, and ground beef. Start by adding the ground beef to the pan. Then, add the tomato sauce and the salsa. Once it’s heated, add the pasta, the beans, tomatoes, and corn! The good thing is that you can totally customise this bit – add veggies of your choice! Then, add the cheese and stir again. That’s it! Isn’t it super easy?
