This mask is great if you have really dry skin! In a small bowl, take 1 half of an avocado, mash it up as fine as you can and then add 1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil. Mix it all together until it forms a paste-like consistency. Voila! Leave this bad boy on your face for 20 minutes, rinse it off and say hello to soft, hydrated skin!

Oats and Coconut Oil Face Mask

For acne-prone skin! Mix together 3 tablespoons of oats, 1/4 cup of warm water and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Pop this mask on your face for 15 minutes, then rub the face mask into the skin even more for about 5 minutes. Oats are amazing for acne as they help to soothe inflamed skin and coconut oil is a kick-ass natural moisturiser.

Coffee and Lemon Face Mask

This mask works wonders for oily skin! Take 1 tablespoon of instant coffee and a pinch of lemon juice and mix together. Add a little bit of warm water if your face mask is too dry, to form more of a paste. Leave this on your skin for 15-20 minutes to let the caffeine from the coffee work its magic. Lemon is also great for oily skin as it contains citric acid which can absorb excess oil and prevent breakouts. Before you rinse this mask off, really exfoliate the skin with the coffee granules.

Get smooth and silky locks with this DIY hair mask, and also eliminate dandruff and/or a dry and itchy scalp. Put 1-2 bananas in a blender (depending on hair length), add 2 tablespoons of raw honey and 2 tablespoons of avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil. Blend everything together until everything is smooth, the smoother the better. However, don’t let the mixture heat up in the blender! Transfer your mixture into a bowl or container, and lather it into the hair. Make sure you saturate the hair from root to tip, and leave the mask on for 1-2 hours. Wash it out thoroughly and enjoy silky and luscious locks!
