Before discovering the true wonder of eyeshadows, I used to know nothing about eyeshadows. But once you buy your first palette you get obsessed! Thank God for Youtube and makeup tutorials! It was hard to narrow it down to just the top 10 eyeshadow palettes, but we did! Here is our list of top 10 eyeshadow palettes that you have to try. The reviews are amazing and everyone is raving about them.
These eye palettes by Smashbox are small in size and each palette has a special theme. There’s Softlight with nude everyday colours. Ablaze has brown and red tones. Golden Hour with brown everyday colours. Smoky for a smoky eye makeup look, Matte, Bold with crazy vibrant colours and Metallic with shimmering eyeshadows. All of the shadows are highly pigmented and the packaging is really unique and cute.
Everyone was really excited for the launch of this pretty palette, and for a good reason! The main theme of this palette is red and brown tones, and that’s why they named it ‘Heat’. This palette is perfect for all eye colours, especially blue, as the orange and red tones really compliment blue eyes.
Everyone should own at least one Morphe palette in their lifetime. They are super affordable and you won’t be disappointed by the pigment, the colour and the size. You get these big eyeshadows that are versatile and wearable everyday, and the pigment is really good so you won’t need to use much. I truly recommend to invest in this one!
If you’ve been looking around Youtube, then you’ll know that every woman who does makeup tutorials owns this palette. Everyone loves this and so do I! You have the safe colours, like browns and creams, and then you have a few red and pink shadows to spice up your eye makeup look!
This is an eyeshadow palette made for soft pink looks. It’s so pretty! Although the shadow colors look similar, on the eye they look very different. This palette would really suit someone with brown or green eyes, as pink and purple shades compliment these eye colours.
This is a classic eyeshadow palette that’s perfect for everyday use. No shimmer, just matte shadows ranging from light to brown and neutral colours. I would recommend this palette if you’re starting out with makeup and you’re learning how to do your eyeshadow for the crease for example. They are really pigmented so you only need to dab the brush a little bit.
This is my favourite palette in the WORLD! The packaging is so pretty and the shadows are perfect for soft looks. You get two reddish and pink shadows, a few brown ones, metallic ones and a highlighter for the brow bone. This palette is not just for spring as I like to wear the colours in the winter as well. OH, I forgot to mention that it smells like chocolate as well!!! So this is number one on my top 10 eyeshadow palettes list.
Sometimes I really want to wear pink tones on my eyes. Especially when it’s spring or summer with warm sunny weather! So this Huda palette is everything I was looking for! You have a few shimmering pink shadows, a few matte ones, a brown one in the middle for the crease or to transition the colour of your lid to a different one in your crease. It’s extremely wearable, don’t be intimidated by all the pink shades.
This palette really does smell like chocolate! With this eyeshadow palette, you get a few metallic colours and a few matte ones ranging from brown neutrals to cream ones. You also get two purple ones if you want to create a darker look for the night.
I have included this eyeshadow palette on this list because it’s a small palette that’s perfect for travelling. Sometimes I’m scared my big palettes will smash in my suitcase, so I always go for a small one like this when travelling. Besides, if you’re going for a trip for a few days, you don’t need a big one. This one has a few basic colours like two brown ones and a shimmering one, as well as a darker colour in the corner in case you want to create a nighttime look on the go.
