Our Favorite Blackhead Removal Products

For years as teenagers, we fretted over our acne prone skin and thought we were finally at the other end. As adults, it turns out there’s another impurity for us ladies to worry about; blackheads. Almost impossible to get rid of, they bury their way into your skin and refuse to leave. Regardless of how well we cleanse and tone it just seems there’s no way to banish them for good. Therefore, it seems we need to add yet another beauty product to our ever-growing list. Yet, with so many out there, I, like so many others can’t help but feel overwhelmed. How do you know what are the best blackhead removal products? Well here is a list of our favourite ones!

Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

My worst area affected by these sneaky blackheads has to be my nose. These pore strips have been my go-to product since I was 14. They are a cost/time effective way of removing blackheads. Biore pore strips contain tea tree oil and witch-hazel which keep troublesome skin at bay. It’s also highly satisfying yanking the strip off and seeing how many you have managed to remove from your skin. Not only do they remove these tricky skin impurities; they also unclog pores of dirt and oil. These are a no brainer when I am doing my skin care routine and you should add them to yours too!

Professional Blackhead and Blemish Remover

If you enjoy watching videos of blackheads being removed or spots being popped, then you’re probably going to love this tool. The blackhead remover tool is made of surgical-grade stainless steel and needs to be disinfected before and after use. After cleansing the infected area, press the tool down over the blackhead. Then pull upwards and you should have removed it. This product is effective and does remove blackheads efficiently. The only downside is that the motion is rather repetitive and tedious. Furthermore, it takes a good amount of time if you have a fair few to remove, but this extractor has gained a place on this list because of its success rate. It is also inexpensive at only £5.99, making it a bargain if you have time to spare and blackheads to remove!

Exfoliating Skin Brush

Blackheads are caused by excess oil or dead skin cells remaining in your pores. So one of the best ways to remove these dead skin cells is by using an exfoliating skin brush. The brush works as the bristles remove dirt, makeup and other free radicals, making your skin clearer, softer and smoother. There are many exfoliating brushes on the market ranging in price, so choose the one that best suits your budget and needs.
