I think it goes without saying that we all enjoy a good Netflix sesh. I’ve spent many a night binge-watching my fave shows or using documentaries about food as an excuse to procrastinate from my uni work. Now that the summer’s here, we all now have plenty of time to sit back and enjoy a TV show from start to finish. Take a look at the new netflix tv shows coming this summer so you can add them to your watchlist!
If you’re a fan of Tina Fey’s brand of humour, then get excited for the fourth season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt! The premise of the whole show is quite ridiculous, but it’s great fun. If you’re looking for some light-hearted comedy and TV that doesn’t require much thinking, then I’d definitely recommend this show.

After such a successful first season, Glow is back again this summer. Full of wild 80s fashion and feminist undertones, this would be a great one to put on for a girls’ night in.

Netflix has got a great selection of cooking shows dedicated to cooking failures, but Nailed It! has got to be one of the best. Like the Great British Bake Off gone awry, this a great show to get stuck into for the summer.

The reboot of the classic makeover show stole everyone’s hearts and will be back again on Netflix this summer. I myself haven’t actually seen it but have heard amazing reviews, so I’ll definitely be binge watching seasons 1 and 2 this summer.

As expected from anything from Marvel, this show packed a punch and was filled with action and drama in its first season. Expect it to be better than ever this summer, and be prepared for some Netflix crashes as you fight with thousands of other people around the world who are eager to see it! This is definitely going to be one of the most exciting new netflix tv shows!

This show is already out for viewing now on Netflix, but after such a controversial first season, I thought it would be worth mentioning in this list. The first season attracted fans of the original book, and turned out to be a huge success. Of course, such a sensitive storyline could not escape backlash and resulted in a social-media frenzy. Season 2 will be based on entirely new material and people are eager to see if this season will have a different take on sensitive issues.
Release Date: May 18, 2018
This show has some die-hard fans, and after being taken off the air, it’s back to neatly wrap up the season to make all the fans happy. If you’re a fan, make sure to tune in and (hopefully) have all your questions answered!
