If you fancy wearing makeup for a day of lectures, without going full glam, this is the article for you! No false lashes or cakey foundation needed. This is how to get a fresh, natural makeup look for university!
After you’ve finished your skin routine, apply your moristuriser, then use a concealer that matches your skin perfectly to cover any unwanted blemishes. If you have a concealer in a lighter shade, add it in a triangle shape around your eye area to brighten the overall tone of your face.
You can leave your base there, but if you feel like you need a fuller coverage, try a mineral based powder foundation. I use Bare Minerals matte powder foundation in the shade light. This gives you a fuller coverage while still attaining a natural makeup look.
To add definition, buff a neutral toned bronzer around the perimeter of your face to achieve that bronzed goddess appearance! If you want to add luminosity to the high points of your face, the cheekbones, cupids bow, and brow bone, add a touch of highlighter.
Run a tinted brow gel through your brows and try to tame those hairs! This doubles for a brow gel as well as an eyebrow pencil for hiding uneven gaps. Enhance your natural brow shape, without painting a new face on!
Use a touch of your bronzer through your crease to wake up those eyes and add mascara! I think Maybelline’s Lash Sensational is the best on the market to keep those lashes curled and elongated!
Before running out the door, pop on a coat of tinted lip balm to keep your lips hydrated, as well as kissable! Go for the most neutral color that resembles the natural color of your lips.
