Motivation Tips For Those Days When You Just Can’t

We all have those days when we can’t find our motivation to do anything, not even get out of bed. It’s a struggle to think about doing anything so instead we procrastinate and do nothing. On days when you need motivation for those days you just can’t, this list of motivation tips will help you get your groove back on.

Music

We all love music, whether it be country or pop, or jazz or rap, we all have something that makes us want to get up and dance. All you have to do is make a playlist of songs that make you want to jump up and down. You can listen to it while you clean or write or study. It’s a great source of motivation. You can listen to it when you feel down to cheer yourself up or you can listen to it when you need to get shit done and need some cheering on.

Quotes

Everyone googles “motivational quotes” or goes on Pinterest and pins every single quote they can find until they feel better. Although this can go on for hours, this is a great way to gain new motivation. Why not print some of your favourite quotes out and stick them on the fridge or wall so you can see your motivation every day? Having beautiful quotes everywhere will make your home happy and it keeps you motivated.

Set A Goal

If you have a goal you would like to accomplish such as keeping fit or starting a new project, why not let that be your motivation? If you want to reach your dreams, buy a planner, sit and work everything out and let that be the reason you get out of bed every morning. Your project can be big or small, but having one will take your mind off other things and allow you to get motivated about something you’re really passionate about.

Thinking Positive

In order to achieve our goals, we must first believe in the fact that they’ll come true. Sit and take time to think positively, even for five minutes. Take deep breaths and visualize your goals being achieved. It will help motivate you in the present if you think about what you’re going to achieve in the future. You could start yoga to relax or try meditation for mindfulness. There are so many different ways to think positive and bring good thoughts into our lives. If we think more positively, good things are more likely to happen, and even if they don’t, having a positive attitude is better than being sulky.

Keep A Diary

Keeping a diary sounds hard, but really, your diary could be anything from drawings to bullet points, paragraphs to pictures. Keeping a diary of your emotions will help you know where you’re at and can be a great motivation to do better. You can confide in it and tell all your secrets, knowing no one else knows. This is one of the best motivation tips!

We hope you found these motivation tips helpful and keep motivated!
