Why spend lots of money on buying milkshakes from diners when you could make your own? Milkshakes are quick and easy to make at home and it will save you a lot of money. There are lots of ingredients you can blend together to make a milkshake you will love. Here are 10 milkshake recipes you need to try.
1 tablespoon chocolate spread (optional)
250ml semi-skimmed milk
2 scoops chocolate ice cream
30ml double cream, whipped
Add the chocolate spread on the back of a teaspoon and spread it in a long line from the bottom of the inside of the glass, to the top. Put the rest of the chocolate spread in a saucepan and heat it until it is running and set it aside.
Put the milk and chocolate ice cream into a blender. Whizz everything up until smooth then pour into your prepared glass. Then you can whatever toppings you want.
100g blueberry
2 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
200ml milk
2 large scoops vanilla ice cream
In a blender, whizz blueberries, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, milk and ice cream. Pour into milkshake glasses and enjoy!
250ml semi-skimmed milk
2 bananas, sliced
50ml double whipped cream

700ml milk

Roughly chop 75g of the chocolate and put into a large jug with the coffee. Boil 300ml of milk, then pour over the chocolate and coffee mix, stirring to melt. Once melted, cool.
Tip the cooled mocha milk into the blender with the ice cream and remaining milk. Blitz until blended, then pour into glasses.
225g strawberry, hulled
300ml cold milk
3 large scoops vanilla ice cream
Extra strawberries, for decoration (optional)
Tip the hulled strawberries into a blender with the milk and ice cream. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into tall glasses, top with sliced strawberries.

300ml cold milk
1 tablespoon chocolate sauce
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
Add the Oreo cookies with the milk and the ice cream into a blender. Blend until smooth.
4 scoops vanilla flavoured ice cream
300ml semi-skimmed milk
1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Add the ice cream, milk and vanilla extract into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, then pour into glasses.
100g strawberry cheesecake
300ml semi-skimmed milk
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
Add the strawberry cheesecake with the milk and vanilla ice cream into a blender. Then blend until smooth.
3 scoops chocolate ice cream
3 tablespoons peanut butter
300ml semi-skimmed milk
chocolate sauce
Add the ice cream, peanut butter and milk into a blender. Then blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and add chocolate sauce on top.
75g white chocolate
2 scoops vanilla milkshake
250ml semi-skimmed milk
Marshmallows (optional)
Blend the white chocolate, ice cream and milk together in a blender. Blend until it is smooth and creamy. Then pour into a glass and add marshmallows on top.
