Everyone knows that dating is a pain, and one of the worst things is when you’re craving some alone time with a guy who just isn’t picking up what you’re putting down. As long as your guy isn’t completely oblivious (and hey, he must be if he hasn’t asked you on a date yet), then he’ll pick up on the hint and offer to go with you.
If you and your friends have a fun activity planned like watching a film, going to a bar or even something like bowling, invite your potential significant other along. Whilst you’re there, let him know that you’d like to make this an exclusive thing by suggesting that next time you hang out, it should just be the two of you, or alternatively, if you’re doing something like seeing a film suggest that the pair of you grab a drink after.
If you’re going to have plans one day, like going out for coffee, casually let him know what you’re up to. If he knows your schedule, then it’s more likely that he’ll ask if he can join you at whatever it is you’re doing. Once he joins then – ta dah! – your cheeky treat yourself Starbucks is now a cosy date for two. If you want to take this a step further, let him know when you’re going out in the evening – inviting him to a club or a bar increases your chances of getting a tipsy kiss or a dance together. Shrug off those gender roles and suggest a fun first date activity to your hottie, making sure that he knows it’s a date.
