If you are looking for the some of the best high street foundations for pale skin, you definitely need to check out these brands!

If like me you have very pale skin, you may struggle to find a foundation that is light enough to avoid that dreaded orange line along the edge of your jaw. Not only this, but the few well-known brands available to you may seem eye-wateringly expensive for those of you on a budget. However, there are other options out there if you know where to look. Below are six of the most affordable high street foundations for pale skin currently available on the High Street:

1. Rimmel London Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation – £8.99

This Rimmel liquid foundation has got to be my personal favourite. Its formula is lightweight, breathable, moisturising and long-wearing. Not only this, but it also contains SPF20 which is perfect for the summer and a little product goes a long way. For best results, start from the centre of your face and blend out with either a foundation brush or beauty blender. Rimmel’s Lasting Finish range also includes a 25 hour foundation which gives a fuller coverage finish and is good for the winter months. Both products have either an applicator or pump for ease of use and come in the shade Light Porcelain for those of us with super pale skin!

2. Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation – £9.99

If you want your makeup to fight fatigue and make your skin look more radiant, this Bourjois liquid foundation promises to do just that! With vitamins C, E and B5, its Healthy Mix formula will help to give you a clear complexion and glowing skin that lasts for up to 16 hours! The two palest shades are 51 Light Vanilla which has more of a yellow tone and 52 Vanilla which has more of a pink hue to it. You can even mix them both to match it to a more neutral base. This is definitely one of the best affordable high street foundations!

3. L’Oreal Infallible Foundation – £10.99

This high coverage Infallible Foundation by L’Oreal is designed to cover blemishes and improve the appearance of fatigue by disguising dark under-eyes. It promises to last all through the day and night and its formula is also touch proof to prevent it wearing off or smudging. For best results, this foundation should be used with a mattifying primer and set with a fixing mist. Porcelain is the lightest shade and should suit even the lightest skin!

4. GOSH X-Ceptional Wear Foundation by Superdrug – £7.99

Not only is this Superdrug own brand liquid foundation suitable for pale skin, it is also cruelty free and vegan! This GOSH foundation is light and smooth to apply and provides long-lasting medium coverage and matte finish. It is also moisturising and does not contain perfume or parabens that can be harsh on the skin. Shade 11 Porcelain is the lightest available and at £7.99, this foundation is very affordable for those on a budget. This is definitely one of the best high street foundations for long-lasting coverage!

5. Revlon Colorstay Foundation – £12.99

This more premium high street foundation by Revlon comes in two formulas for different skin types. You can choose from either normal/dry skin or combination/oily skin formulas. Whichever you choose, this foundation blends seamlessly and evenly and leaves a velvet matte finish. It also contains SPF 15, lasts up to 24 hours and provides medium to full coverage so is suitable for photos and will disguise any blemishes. Revlon Colorstay comes in two paler shades – Buff for yellow tones and Ivory for skin with more of a pink tone.

It provides medium to full coverage and will last for up to 16 hours wear.
