Here’s Some Tips To Stop Stressing And Relax A Little
Are you going through a stressful time that is putting your health at risk in the long run? Here are some tips to stop stressing and break those bad habits that stop you from fully enjoying your life.
1. Try massages /acupuncture
If you didn’t know yet, acupuncture and self massaging is a thing-You can treat yourself with only your hands and a few other massage tools on your pressure point such as the palm of your hands or feet, and temples on your forehead and back of your neck. Just learn which are the pressure points, and how it will help you.
2. Get more sleep
Might be easily said than done, but try to blank out your mind-There’s nothing worse than overthinking, it leads to stress & frustration and that often causes insomnia. Try getting more sleep by going to bed earlier, get at least 8 hours of sleep.
3. Spend more time with good friends
Surrounding yourself with positive energies is more important than we think-Find out who you want to spend with based to how they make you feel. Being sociable is great, but depends who with. The best  friends will make you feel great, even if its by text, talking to someone close to you will help you lower your stress levels.
4. Practice an activity that you’re passionate about
Whether it is a sport like yoga , tennis or football or a creative activity like pottery , painting or knitting-Doing something you love will keep you busy & in turn will make you forget what bothers you, eventually distressing you. It’s as simple as that.
5. Do everything in moderation
Moderation is key when it comes to avoiding over stressing-If you need to get something done , such as work make you sure you take breaks every 15-20 mins or so as it will help you relax and focus. And if you’ve spent too much time on something, stop everything and go out for a while, some fresh air will instantly make you feel better.
