Smoothie bowls are simply ideal for breakfast, ideal as a snack, great for your tummy and great for your eyes too. Smoothie bowls look like heaven, they taste unreal, and most importantly nourish your body from within! It may not be your thing but promise you’ll give it a try at least! Smoothie bowl is a super quick and definitely easy alternative for breakfast that will make your mornings better and have you rocking your day! They may be prepared a night before if you fancy but I can assure you smoothie bowls take seconds to make. All you need is to blend the ingredients together and transfer it into a bowl – add your favorite toppings and you’re done! Easy peasy and delicioso!

1. Strawberry And Matcha Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries (but you can use any berries you fancy)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1/4 can of plant milk

Suggested toppings: a few slices of banana and berries, a dash of chia seeds or any other seeds you like)

2. Raspberry And Vanilla Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder (you can use vanilla extract too to give it a sweeter taste)
  • 1 cup plant milk

Suggested toppings: more raspberries, 2 tbsp chia seeds, mint leaves, cashews

3. Choco Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen zucchini, chopped
  • 1 tbsp coconut yogurt
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder (cocoa powder works very well too)
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 3/4 cup plant milk

Suggested topping: more banana, a sprinkle of dark chocolate chips (for more intense choco taste), nut butter of your choice (but peanut and chocolate – oh boy, this is the combo!)

4. Spirulina Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp spirulina blue-green algae
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 ice cubes

Suggested toppings: berries, kiwi, a few slices of peach, some coconut flakes and chopped nuts – yummy!

5. Berry And Avocado Smoothie Bowl

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup plant milk (preferably almond but choose the one you like the most)
  • 1 tsp agave nectar (or honey if you like)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

Suggested toppings: berries, almonds, and dark chocolate chips

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 3/4 cup coconut water
  • a dash of activated charcoal (for that deep intense black smoothie colour)
  • dragonfruit (you can blend in some dragonfruit as it works really well with this smoothie too)

Suggested toppings: dragonfruit – but if you’re keen you can add chopped nuts too, oh and maybe nut butter to make it extra creamy!

7. Sweet And Sour Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 frozen banana
  • half a mango
  • 1/3 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 squeezed lemon
  • 1/2 cup plant milk

Suggested toppings: dragonfruit, more mango, and kiwi – how about that?

8. Choco-Berry Smoothie Bowl

  • 2 cups frozen berries (berries of your choice)
  • 2 cups steamed zucchini (do not be afraid to steam and then freeze your zucchini, it will work too)
  • 1 cup spinach (or kale if you prefer)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp nut butter (any you fancy – cashew butter is damn fine though)
  • 1 cup plant milk
  • 3 dates (for extra sweetness, although not necessary)

Suggested toppings: berries, coconut flakes, goji berries
