Since Harry Styles started his career in 2016 after the One Direction split, he has become a style icon at the forefront of new fashions. Because of his newly developed style, which mainly revolves around flamboyant suits and bold patterns, Styles has shot into the world of fashion. He is the face of Gucci campaigns and was one of the three co-chairs for the 2019 Met Gala. With so many famous and beautiful outfits, it is hard to choose which are the best! But, after a lot of thinking and searching through Harry’s vast collection of outfits, we have chosen our top 10 outfits which Harry Styles has worn post One Direction.
When flares came back into fashion, Harry took this style and made it his own by combining it with his trademark suit which he performs in. The white suit with black trimming and black flowers is a welcomed addition to his collection of suits.
This 2019, Harry was the face of Gucci’s tailoring line, for the third time in a row! Our favourite look from this early 2019 campaign was definitely this look. The combination of the tweed suit with a Japanese inspired Komono and gold headband plus the ultra cute piglet is just perfect!
If you are going to do a glittery suit, you have to go all out for it, and that is exactly what Harry did. This wide lapel, purple glitter suit jacket, and trousers were paired with a clashing yellow-gold shirt with a bow collar – who knew such flamboyance could look so good!
Sometimes we just want to be comfy and casual. Harry does this just as well as he does his usual flamboyant and camp style, by wearing a black oversized, designer knit jumper. This Raf Simmons New York jumper worn by Harry in 2017 sold out almost immediately after he wore it in the winter. Certainly proves his status as a male fashion icon!
This pastel pink suit jacket, based on early soldier’s outfits, is one of our favourites. Taking a traditionally male and violent uniform and making it pink and embroidered is so camp and so Harry. The small details like the buttons and gold trim push it just over the edge and make it so stunning!
If you want to do Halloween costumes right, just look to Harry Styles and see what he’s doing. His 2018 costume, which is an exact replica of one of Elton John’s famous outfits from the 1970’s, is definitely the best he has ever donned for the scary holiday.
When on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke for the Late Late Show, Harry wore a casual, oversized shirt that was incredibly bold and floral. Although Styles tried on many outfits during this video, most hilarious rather than stylish, this shirt is so beautiful and was definitely the best one he wore!
Another one of our favourite outfits is from Harry’s Gucci tailoring campaigns. However, this look is from his first Gucci campaign in 2017. The black suit paired with the red necklace and this check, blanket style long coat looks both comfortable and gorgeous!
Harry took mustard yellow and combined it with painted on blue, yellow, orange and pink flowers. This suit is honestly like a piece of artwork and 100% deserves a spot in Harry’s top 10 outfits!
This list would not be complete without Harry’s 2019 Met Gala look, an event of which he was one of the three co-chairs. His black jumpsuit is based on the theme of ‘camp’ and is absolutely amazing. The very high waisted trousers cut off around the midriff and are replaced by a sheer black material that shows off his tattoos. Styles also pierced his ear for this event, which is a welcomed new addition to his style. We can’t wait to see which accessories he will wear next!
