5 Hangover Breakfast Ideas That Will Save You

Shit happens and so does hangovers. These hangover breakfast ideas will help you when the only one who can save you from dying is yourself!

Uh, I know that feeling! I mean there’s not that many people in the world who haven’t been hungover. Whether you danced your shoes off or cried your heart out last night, the morning outcome is usually the same if you didn’t hydrate yourself properly or had something good to eat beforehand.

These hangover breakfast ideas are easy, quick and will make you feel better after having them.

1. Grilled Cheese Sandwich

There is no way that this sandwich can go wrong. It’s normal that your neurons act a bit slow when hangover, but believe me that you won’t make a mistake when it comes to this dish. Just take some bread, add some slices of cheese (any kind you have in your fridge) and toast it with lots of butter on the outside.

If you want to make it even better, fry an egg and bacon and add it to it before toasting. It’s filling, quick and tastes delicious.

2. Fried Eggs And Toast

This is one of the easiest hangover breakfast ideas! Just fry a couple of eggs as you prefer, toast some slices of bread and enjoy. Don’t forget to season with salt and pepper.

This hangover idea doesn’t require a lot of skills in the kitchen, everyone can fry an egg and usually, you have some in your pantry along with bread.

3. Banana Almond Smoothie

This is one of the hangover breakfast ideas that will quench your thirst, fill you up and make you feel better. It consists of banana, yogurt or milk, almond butter, and honey so it’s packed with vitamins, electrolytes, minerals and a bunch of healthy things that your body needs when hangover.

Add some ice to make a frozen smoothie, it can work wonders for the summer season as well plus it’ll make you feel alive and brand new.

4. Kale, Banana And Flaxseed Smoothie

5. Chicken Stock And Toast

When you can’t really move that much and be bothered with even frying an egg. A chicken stock and toast will not only revive your soul but it will also be a quick meal to fill your stomach.

A good tip is to always make sure you have chicken or vegetable stock in your fridge, even if it’s frozen.

These hangover breakfast ideas are dummy proof! You can make them with basic elements that you usually have in your pantry and they are super fast too. Also, it is always good to have a plan B in your pantry or fridge, get some comforting food from the supermarket the night before, put it in your fridge and just warm it up in the morning.

That way you don’t have to spend much more than 3 minutes in the kitchen, have the food and relax in the comfort of your bed or sofa while the hangover slowly goes away.
