Everyone loves to cuddle up with a good book at the end of the day, it’s a great way to relax. These are some of our favourite bedtime books to cuddle up with:

1. You’re the one that I don’t want

Lucy and Nate meet in Venice, fall madly in love, and kiss under the Bridge of Sighs at sunset where legend says any couples that do that are destined to be together forever. Ten years later the pair have lost contact, but when Lucy moves to New York the pair keep bumping in to one another. But what if Nate isn’t The One? How is she going to get rid of him? Because forever could be a very long time… This book is really easy to read, with a slightly more realistic approach to “the one”.

3. Cinder

The first book in a larger series taking old fairy tales in a new direction. Set way in the future cyborg Cinderella spends her days making money to support her step-families lavish lifestyle. The entire series is unlike anything I’ve read, it really made for a fun story and the whole collection creates an elaborate universe to get stuck into.

4. Love, Rosie/ Where Rainbows End

Before the successful film was released, Love, Rosie was a book. The plots are very similar but the book allows for more exposition and spans a longer timeline. A cute story about two people that just keep missing each other, filled with heartbreak, laughter, and happy endings.

5. Personally, I blame my fairy godmother

Jessie Woods has the perfect life, a great job, a great man, and an amazing pink house. It is the complete fairy tale ending, but in the blink of an eye everything goes down the drain and she has to live with her step-family to try and put her life back together. A quirky reversal of the rags to riches story that is great to read just before bed.
