Before a night out, I always prepare the essentials because I know that the next day I will be feeling like a nauseous zombie who can’t get out of bed!
Bananas with your breakfast
On a night out, it’s not unusual to lose a lot of potassium. We drink and we go to the toilet endless amount of times! So what better way to replenish our potassium levels and feel better?! Yes, bananas!! If you are not feeling too nauseous, you can eat it with some toast to absorbs all the alcohol left in your stomach.
Red ginseng tea
Ginseng tea is great after a long night of drinking! It is packed with so many antioxidants that the morning after your night out, a cup of this tea will detoxify your body and your liver, as well as aid your stomach.
Asparagus
Research has shown that the amino acids and minerals found in asparagus help relieve hangover symptoms as well as protect and clean the liver from toxins.
Chicken noodle soup
Chicken noodle soup, or even with some rice if you don’t have noodles, is really good for the stomach after heavy drinking. The noodles will help calm your stomach while you eat something substantial apart from water, while the liquid from the soup will restore some of your hydration.
McDonald’s
The salted chips and a burger never did anyone wrong! It’s a trusty ol’ method used by millions of clubgoers! I believe that some salted chips straight after the club or bar is the best approach and that it does help with the hangover that is about to come. Is it the salt or chips?!
